Before I Die

After losing both of her parents and walking straight into a life of bullying, Allison one day collapses on the sidewalk in the cold winter snow.
When she wakes up at the hospital, she wakes up to a smiling face. But what she didn't know was that the unknown boy was the famous Justin Bieber.
She'd promised herself to never trust anyone but Samantha (her best friend) but will Justin change everything? And what happens when she finds out the truth and gets dragged straight into the spotlight?

38. To Allison with love

Justin's POV

She looked so peaceful just laying there, as pale as the sheets she was wrapped in. There were no sounds except for the EKG proving she was still with me.

I felt a tear escaping the corner of my eye while I was taking a hold of the chair located in the corner of this small, hospital room. I found myself lifting it up and placing it next to her bed; like I've done two other times already. Though this time, I'm happy she's here and not at the morgue. I grabbed a good hold of her tender hand with both of my own, leaning towards our intertwined hands - looking at her and just feeling more grateful than I ever have before.

"I know you probably can't hear me." I started, wiping the first tear away from my face. "But I'm sorry that the last time I saw you I wasted that time to make you upset. I'm sorry about Fredo, kicking him out and getting upset with him.. I mean.. Who wouldn't catch feelings for you?" I tightened my grip around her hand, moving my other one to stroke her bruised cheek.

"I just wan't you to know that I love you and I hope, from the depth of my heart, that no matter what you've been through, you'll still find me in your heart. We don't have to talk about it if you're not comfortable to, but you know I'll always care. And no matter what's on your mind, I'll always listen."

I was so extremely relieved that her heart was still beating; though this didn't make the fact that my heart broke when I saw here any less true. She was like a punctured straw; too many wounds to count. Her face was purple from all the bruises and her hands where red from the internal bleedings they'd suffered. I can't even imagine what she'd been through; even less imagine who on earth would do such a thing.

Suddenly I heard a slight knock on the door, immediately suspicious to whom it might be due to Alli's condition. When the door opened, it was to my relief only Aceline and Scooter who came to check up on Allison.

"Hello, how are we doing?" She asked while walking her tiny footsteps over to the bed. Aceline took blood pressure, temperature and ran some other test before packing her medical case and turning towards me and Scooter.

"Any questions you would like answers to?" She asked with a friendly nurse-kind-of smile.

"Do you have any clue when she'll regain consciousness?" I asked, looking back at Allison.

"Sorry sir, it's impossible to tell precisely. But in her condition I'd assume her to be out at least a couple more days. Maybe less, maybe more, but if everything's in place she should be awake by the end of the week."

"Will she recover completely?"

"By the look of it now, yes. She'll have to take it easy though, spend the first couple of weeks in bed and such. But her broken bones and wounds will heal as well as the bruises will fade. Don't worry Mr. Bieber, she should be alright. Though if you do have any concerns, do not hesitate to contact your nearest hospital. It's extremely important she gets all the medical assistance she requires in time."

I thanked nurse Aceline and once again turned my focus on Allison. She'll be alright.

"Postpone my tour." I told Scooter before I headed out to the hospital cafè. I was in serious need of something caffeine containing.

Alfredo's POV

I was nervous walking towards 103. Me and Justin have been on a pretty rough patch lately and it certainly does not help that I still may or may not have feelings for Allison. Even though I haven't seen her since the day she got abducted I have not been able to let her go. It feels like it's meant to be me and her; that if only I was the one to find her on the side of the road, maybe things would've been different.

I had to take a moment to gather myself before walking in. From what I hear, her condition is bad and the recovery will take quite some time. Scooter even said Justin told him to postpone the entire tour so he could help her recover.

Sweet, right?

Allison is dear to me. She really is a treasure and this I can tell just from the small talks we had on the plane and the one at our hotel in Paris.

"Hey man, how are you feeling?" I asked Justin as I stepped inside Alli's room.

"I've been better." He responded with a voice sounding completely flat. "And you?"

"I'm not sure what this feeling is called. It's rather new to me."

"Heartbroken?" Justin asked with a sarcastic grin on his face. "Join the club."

As I took some steps closer, I got a clearer vision of the poor girl. I couldn't help but gasp and falling into a squat position.

We just sat in silence - Justin and me - both knowing there was not much to say in such a moment as this one. Neither of us had any clue who it could be and with the police not getting anywhere there was not much to discuss.

"I'm going to find them Fredo." He finally stated. "I'll find them."

"And then what?"

"I'm not sure, but I need to know who did this. There can be no risk of such a thing ever happening again."

Poor thing had been sitting here for two days soon; his eyes were red and swollen, hands white from all the pressure and the only thing keeping him going was caffeine and the thought of Allison waking up.

"Leave it to the police, bro." I rose up and gave him a clap on the back before stretching and then walking out. I couldn't bear to watch her a second longer in such a state. No way.
