38. The honeymooners sc

Chapter 38 The honeymooners

Wow it was so nice to be alone with Sam thankfully there was no Alice to disturb us. My mother and Rob had agreed to look after her for a whole week.  Then it would be back home and the start of summer term at LSE in the mean time I intended to enjoy myself or so I thought.

We were staying at The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino Las Vegas, which was the wedding gift from my dad who, of course, was too busy to attend the ceremony.

I in turn arranged for Alan and Brian to join us at the resort as a sort of thank you for all the help and support they had given me during the pregnancy and for especially taking care of Alice afterwards.

Even though my Dad had booked us a suite and the bedroom had two king sized beds, I felt that however broadminded Sam was she would not want to share with the boys. Therefore, I booked them a room only which funnily enough had also two king size beds.

According to my way of thinking everything was going really great especially the sex. That was until the third morning I was lying there in bed resting after getting my leg over when Sam said. “Now were married it would be nice if we moved to a bigger house.”

“What about Alan and Brian?” I enquired, “I don’t think they will want to move.”

“No they don’t. They would stay where they are and have the whole house and we would move,” Sam suggested.

“And where do you think the money for all this is coming from?” I asked.

“From your grandma’s trust fund, Susan your sister, told me as your married now you can break the trust and get hold of some of the money.”

How could Joe do such a thing to me and my Alice. He told me that the solicitor looking after the trust fund his grandma had left him, had insisted before we got married that he make out a Confidential Prenuptial Arrangement that listed all his current assets. By doing so meant in law if we split up for any reason, neither Alice nor I could have any claim on those assets.

Joe

Sam is withholding sex. She’s rather upset with me all because of Susan and her big mouth. No way was anybody supposed to know about Grandmas trust fund. However, Susan was correct, since getting married I was now able to access my share of the trust fund and take money out, but I would not do so until I had a son or daughter of my very own. This withdrawal of sex lark defeated the object of our getting married so it had to stop, but the question was how.

The problem I had that first night was no sooner had I got into bed with Sam and tried cuddling up to her, she pushed me away, got up and moved over to the other bed. This I found rather silly and most frustrating. I would have followed her but no way was I moving over to be rejected a second time.

The following night I decided not to try my luck again with Sam and to let her calm down a bit first. Instead, I chose with Alan’s blessing to move in with him and Brian and sleep in their spare bed. Apparently, Brian was at first not happy with this arrangement, especially as he thought it meant no sex that night.

Sam

A night being alone was disturbing. I was certainly not used to it. I tossed and turned most of the night. What really upset me was I had wasted two nights of pure lust without being interrupting by Alice.

In the morning at breakfast I decided to forgive Joe and would have gone to bed with him right away to make up for lost time but, unfortunately we had planned to visit the Grand Canyon that day.

“Come on there’s nothing to get upset about, its quite safe,” I told Sam, who was clutching my arm in an iron grip and wouldn’t move. We had been walking along the new see-through walkway which jutted out over the canyon edge, when suddenly Sam had frozen.

Sam

Holy shit! I thought looking down through the suspended walkway I had suddenly realised that only a piece of glass was keeping me safe from falling to the Canyon floor, thousands of feet below me.

Thankfully the boys came to my rescue and between us all we managed to get Sam moving and quickly off. What really pissed me off was, even though we were on firmer ground, Sam insisted on holding my arm as she said she was still scared. This meant me missing out on take photos from both the Canyon edge and walkway.
