1. Rain Man

He hears the pitter patter of the rain,

Caressing his bedrooms window pane,

Those sweet drops music to his ears,

The Gods tiny falling tears.

Hat, wellies and anorak on in a flash,

Rain thundering down with a clash,

He runs excitedly into the street,

Giving his friend a meet and greet.

The cool splashes drench his face,

He looks to the sky, a wonderful place,

He spins round, feet full of joy,

Water his glorious musical toy.

Bang and crash has he stomps and plays,

Puddles leave patterns of his fine display,

They all say he’s mad, rains dedicated fan,

He is the one, the only rain man.
