Changed: Sequal to "More Than Friends"

It's been almost a year since (Y/N) left town. Justin has been doing what she told him in the note. He hasn't gone out much and hardly talks to anyone. But when he gets a job at the local Kroger and sees (Y/N) his hopes rise to an all time high. After a small talk they have, he knows things are different between them. (Y/N) now has another boyfriend named, Troye. (looks like youtuber, Troye Sivan) Justin is heart broken because its like (Y/N) forgot the note, the necklace, their love. Will Justin make (Y/N) the person she was before, and will his love for her be enough?

10. Where?

(Justin's P.O.V.)

I woke up on the side of the road outside of a Speedway. I stood up and fell right back down. I looked at my leg and noticed a huge bruise on my knee, "Must have happened when I fell here," I thought. I stood up again and limped into the Speedway. I leaned against the wall by the door and pulled out my phone. I tried calling (Y/N) but there was no reception.

I stumbled over to the register and asked to woman behind the counter, "Excuse me, where am I?"

She seemed confused, I looked at her name-tag, "Bethanne," it read.

"You don't know where you are?" she spoke with a very thick, southern accent.

"No ma'am," she was in her late 40's, early 50's.

"Well, you're in North Carolina."

My eyes widened, why was I in North Carolina? "May I use your phone? I don't have any reception."

"Yes you may." she handed me the phone, I heard it buzzing, "just dial 8 before the area code."

Bethanne when to the other register to help a customer.

I looked at the keypad on the phone and dialed (Y/N)'s number. I didn't know it by heart so I got out my phone and looked at her contact. Still set as, "her<3", I started dialing, 8(937)-555-5153.

It rang about 6 times before an answer, "Who are you, and why are you calling me at 7 in the morning?" Yep, that's my girl.

"(Y/N), it's me, Justin."

I heard her sit up, "Justin? Why are you calling me on this number that's out of state?"

"I don't know, I woke up across the street on a park bench."

"How did you get there? Why were you sleeping on a park bench?"

"Last night before I got home I almost hit your dad. He came running towards me, and told me he wanted you back, then he hit me. In the face, so now, I don't have a car, and I don't know where I am."

She let out a long sigh. "Ask the lady what city you're in and I'll come and get you."

I put my hand over the speaker, "Bethanne, what city am I in?"

She turned around, "Gibson, North Carolina."

"Thank you," I moved my hand from the speaker, "I'm in Gibson, North Carolina."

She responded while yawning, "Where the heck is that?"

"I don't know! Look it up on the GPS I got you for your 17th birthday."

"Oh right, that," I waited for minute, "Holy! That's a 5 hour drive!"

"Oh, Jesus. (Y/N) you don't have to get me."

"Justin, I'm getting you. Do you care what I'm wearing?"

Um, what? "No."

"Okay, just stay there and make some friends. Like Bethanne... When I show up I will be wearing my hair in a messy bun, you're old soccer jersey from senior year, and Michaela's favorite PJ pants."

We said this at the same time, "Danny Phantom."

We both laughed, "Okay, I'll see you then," she said, "I love you."

"I love you too."

"Oh, and you owe me money for gas."

I chuckled, "Okay."

"Alright, bye babe."

"Bye babe."
