Changed: Sequal to "More Than Friends"

It's been almost a year since (Y/N) left town. Justin has been doing what she told him in the note. He hasn't gone out much and hardly talks to anyone. But when he gets a job at the local Kroger and sees (Y/N) his hopes rise to an all time high. After a small talk they have, he knows things are different between them. (Y/N) now has another boyfriend named, Troye. (looks like youtuber, Troye Sivan) Justin is heart broken because its like (Y/N) forgot the note, the necklace, their love. Will Justin make (Y/N) the person she was before, and will his love for her be enough?

28. Till Death Do Us Part

(Justin's P.O.V.)

"I cant wait until you come home. I have a surprise," I said with a smile.
"Ooh, I c-" she was cut off. And I heard glass breaking.
Then there was a repeating beep. I couldn't help but say her name, "(Y/N). (Y/N). (Y/N). (Y/N)!"
I started to panic. I put on my shoes as fast as I could and got my keys. I ran into the garage, got in my car, opened the door, and drove out. I took the way to Lucy's and on the way there, there was major traffic. People were looking out of their windows, opening their doors, and some people were walking up. I got out of my car and started running toward the intersection. I pushed people out of the way, my heart beating faster than a hummingbird's wings.
I got to the police caution line. I looked around and saw a white iPhone case, with gold Rhine stones and sparkles, and a cracked while iPhone inside. I recognized the phone case, it was hers. I looked up from the ground and saw a man going to a police cruiser after he was checked out by the paramedics, he was fine. Just some bruises. The man looked at me with a smirk.
It was him, her dad. He told her he would get her for what she'd done. He was right. Then I saw my girlfriend's car. All bashed up on the left side, the drivers side. I went under the rope then the police came over to me.
"Sir, you can't cross the line, please go back," the officer said to me.
"No you don't understand, that's my girlfriend. My fiancé, please. I-" I pleaded.
"Sir, you have to go."
"No, no, no, ple-" just then, I saw a body bag on a gurney.
My eyes filled with tears. In that moment all of our memories flashed through my head.
Meeting her, our first dinner with her parents and my mom, our first sleepover, our first day of school, our first fight, our first day of middle school, our first day of high school, her introducing me to my first girlfriend, telling me about her first boyfriend, us crying together after they broke up with us for the same reason, our first time cliff jumping, her break up with Michael, our first kiss, our first time, our first date, our fight, our make up, our dances, our cloud watches, our baby, our house, our love.
In that moment everything ended. Our future, our family, our wedding, gone. Instead of planning a wedding with my best friend and fiancé, I have to plan a funeral for her, with the help of her sister.
My hear beat faster, as a tear fell down my cheek I yelled, "(Y/N)!!!!!!"
My sight became fuzzy because of my tears, I tried to fight the police officers but I couldn't. A paramedic came over to me and helped me calm down. That did not work. The love of my life just died, how was I going to calm down. Tears rushing down my face. I pulled out my phone and told Michaela to meet me at (Y/N)'s favorite spot. In an hour.
I arrived at the cliffs and started walking up the steps. I got to the top of the staircase and saw Michaela with tears in her eyes. I walked over to her, wrapped my arms around her and cried. We stood there for a while, then I brought my arms back to my side.
"I just can't believe she's gone," Michaela's voice cracked.
I  took a deep breath, "yeah, me either."
"What were her last words to you?" She asked, wiping away a tear.
"They were," I chuckled, " ooh, I c-."
"What?"
"I was on the phone with her, when she got in the accident. She was cutoff by a car slamming into her," I choked.
Michaela rubbed my arm, "what was she going to say, do you know?"
"Well, I told her I had a surprise. So I'm guessing it was, 'I can't wait,' or something."
"What was the surprise?" Michaela asked with a tear rolling down her face.
I took a long breath, wiped my tears away, and said while looking at the ground, "it was a ring."
Michaela looked up at me, another tear of her's fell, a small smile on her face, "you got her a ring?"
I sniffed, "yes," then smiled.
Michaela and I stood up their and talked for hours about (Y/N). To me she was my best friend and my love, to Michaela she was a friend and a sister. I really do love her, and will miss her dearly.

(AUTHOR'S NOTE: it's not over. But I did almost start crying. Kk, see you soon. ily.
