7. Injury

The next day I re-enforce the whole "not talking about it" thing with Amber. She knows how sensitive it is now, especially now that he hurt me which he's never done before. Jeremy is definitely off of the rails.

"Are you ready to go?" She asks me. I nod and we climb into my car, heading straight for the arena today. We get there before the boys but around the same time as Tori and Paul.

"Okay so maybe we should arrange the choreography before they get here so that it's easier to teach," I suggest.

"That sounds like a good idea," Tori answers. We work out the choreography for the last two songs and run through it a couple of times before finalizing it. The boys were supposed to be here at ten am. So let's just say that at 10:45  and they aren't here, I'm really angry.

I call Zayn's phone - no answer. Paul gives Amber and I the boys' address to their lofts and where their spare keys are hidden. I drop Amber off at our flat so that she can get her car and then we  head to . I'm surprised to find out that all of the boys live surprising close to Amber and I.

I head to Zayn's flat all the way upstairs first while Amber starts at Liam's which is at the bottom. I take the spare key from under the mat and open the door. My eyes widen in shock of how big it is but  I'm scanning for a bedroom. I make my way down the hall and open a door to find Zayn passed out on the bed. "Zayn, wake up," I tell him. He doesn't move. I walk over to him and pull the duvets off of him. He groans. I bend down close to his ear. "WAKE UP!" I yell in his ear. He literally jumps up from the bed.

"What was that for?" He complains.

"Your late. I'm angry. Do the math. Get dressed you have five minutes," I command, beginning to walk away.

He grabs my hand and pulls me back. "How are you doing?" He whispers.

"Okay I guess. I don't want to talk about it," I reply, pulling away to wake the other boys. I  leave his flat and go down the stairs to the next level - Harry's flat. This time I grab a glass of water before going into his room and just pour the water on his head.

"Ahhh!" Harry screams. He gets up and shakes his head off. I have to cover my eyes because apparently Harry sleeps naked.

"Get dressed. You have five minutes," I command and move on. I meet Amber on the middle floor to wake up Niall. I open the door and Amber goes ahead to wake him up. I take the duvets off of Niall and Amber bends down next to him.

"Niall wake up," She shakes his shoulder. He groans and his eyes flutter open. "We have to get to the arena," She says.

"You're late," I growl. He looks from her to me and nods. I exit the room with Amber following behind me.

"How'd you wake them up?" She asks me.

"By pouring water on my head," Harry's voice complains from behind us.

"At least she didn't scream in your ear," Zayn calls.

"What?" I ask Amber innocently when she gives me a hard look.

"Alright, alright. I'm sorry I woke you up that way. But in my defense, you guys were still sleeping when you were supposed to be at work," I reply.

"You call that an apology?" Harry questions.

"Yes, I do," I answer. He shrugs in defeat.

We wait for the rest of the boys and then Amber and I climb into our cars while the boys climb in theirs. Amber and I make a race out of the drive to the arena and the boys join in. However, they all find out how heavy my foot is on the pedal when I win.

I climb out of my car and walk straight into the arena and up on the stage. "You got them here already?" Paul asks in disbelief. I nod. "Damn, you're good," He congratulates me.

I smile and walk over to Tori. "Ready to teach them?" I ask her. She nods and smiles as the boys and Amber enter.

"Okay boys - let's get to work," Amber says and leads them up the stairs to the stage.

We run through the routine that we taught them yesterday. "Harry, you need to sharpen your movements," I instruct him, showing him how to keep the movements stiff and sharp. I slap him on his arm when he grins because I take his arm in mine and model the moves.

He stops after a moment and I look to see Zayn glaring at Harry and specifically where Harry and I are making physical contact. I stare at Zayn for a minute until his eyes meet mine and he looks away in embarrassment.

We teach the boys the dances for the last two songs and it's cool because for One Thing a girl is dancing with them. Unfortunately, she isn't coming in until tomorrow, so Amber volunteered me to play her part considering I choreographed it.

I go through the routine with the boys and it's really weird because it's choreographed so that the girl is holding Harry's hand at one point and then wrapped in Zayn's arms at another. She also has a fun dance part with Niall and then Eleanor Calder (Louis' girlfriend) and Danielle Peazer (Liam's girlfriend) dance with them during it too.

I take a break from dancing with them and watch them dance. Zayn keeps messing up his part and looking around, distracted. "Zayn do you know your part?" I question him.

"My stomach hurts," He replies not answering my question. He begins to walk off of the stage and stumbles, almost falling. I run over to him and wrap his arm around my shoulder, helping him down the stairs.

"Zayn, mate are you okay?" Harry asks, walking over to us.

"Yeah, I just got a little lightheaded. I didn't eat anything at all and my stomach hurts," He answers him. I sit Zayn in a chair and bend down in front of him.

"Are you sure that you're okay?" I question him. He nods.

"I'll run to get him some food," Harry states and literally takes off running.  Zayn starts to get up, but I have to hold his weight so that he doesn't fall.

"Okay, I'm going to take him to lay down," I tell Amber.

"No, I'm fine," Zayn protests, but I'm already dragging him to the dressing rooms. I help him down on the couch and pull of his shirt. "Like what you see?" He smirks, but I'm focused on his stomach. The bruise is developed, but it isn't that big. "I told you, I just haven't eaten mixed with the hangover." He whines.

"Well then you won't have a problem eating and taking some Advil before rejoining us," I wink at him and begin to walk away. "If you get up before you eat then you are seriously going to be making a mistake," I threaten him.

The rest of the day I run through the routines with the rest of the boys and make Zayn watch from the sideline so that he doesn't over work himself. I give him a microphone so that he can sing his part on the side. "When can I go up?" He complains.

"Not now," I answer.

"I feel 100% fine," He replies.

"Just shut up," I tell him, warning him with my eyes. He stands up.

"I'm done waiting." He pushes past me.

"Seriously?" I question.

"Yeah," He snaps and walks on stage.

"Did he just do that?" I ask Amber.

"Wow. Finally, someone who can defy you," She laughs, but then stops when she sees my expression.
