10. Conversations with the World Eater

It was cold. It was warm. I could not tell. I felt the air touching my body swiftly and yet warmth from around my body was kept. My eyes started to clear the fog, I tried to move and move out of a tight area. My ears heard a dark voice in the dovah tongue.

"Stop trying to fight, you won't win any way mortal." I looked and saw Alduin's claws rapped around me I stopped struggling and sighed. I talked back at him.

"Pft, so, where am I?" He seemed a little shocked on how quickly I stopped struggling and talked to him.

   "My home."

   "Very specific I see."

"You know our tongue a little too well."

"So? Anyway what are you going to do to me?"

"Locking you up so you don't run away and get yourself killed, causing me to get killed. Not until I gain my fathers power, than you'll be no use to me."

"I see no reason to lock my up, I mean you flew me here, I can see the hundreds of dragons, besides this is what I've dreamt about." We started to get closer to an eminence tower and castle. Dragons were walking through as freely as they desired. We got to a large platform and about twenty dragons were there to meet him.  They bowed there head in recognition, well until they saw me. They seemed disgusted. Once glared at me and in return I squinted my eyes and stuck my tongue out at him. I got up to my feet and patted off my clothes. As I lifted my head to see Alduin's face right up in mine.

"What do you mean by you dreamt about this?" He glared and snarled a little at me.

"I hate the world that I live in. Especially jorre. I guess you can say if it was my choice I would have wanted to be born a dovah any day." I closed my eyes and ran my hands through my hair. When I opened my eyes I could see the other dragons staring at me with how well I spoke their language. "What?" I turned to them and said. They looked at Alduin.

"Lock her in a room, right now she is the only thing that will keep me alive. Also find her some more suitable clothes, these mortal clothes are disgusting for this place." He walked off and they bowed. Only one staid the rest left. The one of looked and I remember that was the one I stuck my tongue at. My luck as always, amazing.

"I do not know what master Alduin means by what he said, but I am bound to listen to him in this room. Now come mortal." I followed him and kept my head high, but as we went down the hall way my head crept down and towards the floor. The dragons we passed by stared at me and in many different emotions towards me: disgust, anger, and confusion.

The doors to the rooms we passed, well I guess I couldn't call them doors more like gates that knew when one was going to come in. The dragon turned and in his mouth was a sack.

   "What is this?"

"It will be what you ill wear here. Also this is your room, your food will be brought here and you may only leave if Alduin calls for you." He turned and I caught him right before he left.

"What is your name?!" He turned his head.

"Why would you want to know mortal?"

"To thank you for taking me here, if I had gone alone I would be in a word, dead." I stared at him and he spoke.

"Aakdu'ulfaad. Guide crown warmth in your birth tongue."

"Well than thank you Aakdu'ulfaad." He than left the room and the door closed behind him, I could here the door locking. I knew that there was no way through those doors.

I walked over to place the sack on the eminence bed. "Well, defiantly made for human, I'm going to have a lot of sleeping room." I unwrapped the sack and held up the clothes and stared with a confused face. "There is no way I'm going to wear something this skimpy. Maybe if I add some furs on top. Better." The clothes were thin clothes of bright colors, barely clothing me. There was jewelry and armor on parts of it. I added some furs to it and stitched them in with some stuff I found to cover myself. The furs them self were died as well. I slipped the last but of it on, I crown like piece, it was weird. The head piece had to be placed on the back of the head and had jewels that laid on the front. There was bits of clothe that laid on the side than fell down in the back almost like a vail. "Defiantly, much prettier than what I use to wear."

I walked around my room and looked through everything there was. The was a lot of nothing. I had no intentions of leaving knowing that would be my death. I walked over to the, well lack for better words bed and laid down on it. I ran my fingers through my short dirty blonde hair. I guess it was a matter of time before I got myself into something like this.

About a hour passed I didn't release that about two hours had passed. I awoke to see here the doors opening slowly, trying to unlock its self more likely. I sat up and stretched to see two dragons behind it.

"Woke me up you know." I turned to them and stood up and stretched again.

"Alduin has ordered you to come with us."

"Fine by me!" I smirked and followed behind one while one followed behind me. I could tell this place was more than well kept. We didn't go far from my room, so my room wasn't far from his, well what ever I was being brought to. The door that stood before me was eminence, pictures where carved in the door mantle and shown as black as ebony, one of my favorite color. The doors cracked open and slid perfectly reviling colors of light. Stained glass windows showing the story of Alduin. I felt one of the dragons nudge me in with his nose, harder than what was needed. I stumbled a little until I lost my balance and fell onto the floor. The door closed, I looked behind and and turned and stood up only to fall down again. Alduin.

"For the sake! Don't do that!" I rubbed my tail bone and stared at Alduin's snout. I could hear and feel him breathing,

"You have my sent mortal, disgraceful."
"You don't have a sent or nightshades yourself World Eater." I stood up and rubbed my back.

"You have a snakes tongue mortal, not to mention a brain that can't seem to know when it's safe to use that tongue." I was already ready for my comeback.

"Says the dragon. So what do you want I was sleeping you know." I walked along to his side as his head followed before he turned his whole body. I tried to find a place to sit down and so I did, I sat down on the still I'll called bed and looked at Alduin.

"I need you to sit still so I can make sure that if any thing hits you it will hurt me." He slouched around and started to use his thu'um on certain objects. He was pretty arrogant but I guess I didn't mind cause if this is true I knew he could do nothing to me for a good time. He shuffled back up to me, he stared to use his voice around my body, it was in a way extremely awkward.

"I see, so it is true."

"So your soul in now tied to me. Well this is both good and bad I guess." He cricked his head with disgust. "It's good for me cause now I know you won't kill me, nor will the other dragons, but, you can truest me I'm not going to run away from here." He obviously didn't trust what I said. "Here, let me explain. I'm in a place full of dovahs and yourself. I'm up in a castle on a cliff that you can only leave by flying, as you can see no wings on me. So I'm not going anywhere, probably the library and my room, well if you have a library."

"Mortal your not going to leave your room, you have no room in my realm of trust at the moment." I kept myself calm and looked at him and replied.

"Fine by me." He seemed surprised and confused on how quickly I was okay with my confinment. "I'm okay with it, I mean I'll take dovahs over humans any day." I walked around Alduin and kind of had a skip to my dance. "You don't like your brother any more do you?"

"You mean that slithering welp I call my brother?" Besides being full of anger I could tell he was interested in what I was about to say.

"Yep, and that's already one thing we have in common." I looked up at him and smirked, he pulled his head back with a small jult of shock. "Did some things I guess you could say that put me on his bad side, I guess you could say I do that a lot with people, give them a reason to hate me." I turned and skipped along the edge of the room. "But, you know I have a feeling it will be hard for you to hate me, I have a feeling we have a lot in common." He stood his ground and kept a calm face.

"What makes you think that Mortal?" I didn't turn and looked at the stained glass that colored the room.

"I don't know, sometimes you have that feeling."

"You may leave now, I'm done with you for now." I stood there a little bit longer and looked at the stained glass and turned and left, but stopped at the frame of the door.

"Good bye, I'll be seeing you when you need me." The two dragons before lead me back to my room. I sat back on the bed and went back to sleep.
