Pinky Promises

"Well tell me something. Tell me a lie." I asked him. He thought to himself for a moment and then smiled. "I hate you." He wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my forehead. I turned to face him. "Now tell me something true." I whispered. "I love you. I could never hurt you and I never will." He finally spoke. I giggled to myself. "Promise?" I stuck my pinky up at him. He intertwined his pinky with mine and leaned in next to my ear. "Promise."

57. Pennsylvania (Erie)

Harry's POV:

We went to a gentle stop. I smiled to myself as I glanced out the small squared window and into the distance. It was early morning, more around five a.m. Kaylie's head was resting on my shoulder as she flickered her eyes open slowly as if a butterfly was awakening from a morning nap. I kissed her forehead gently and smiled.

"We're here." I told her, helping her stand up. I glanced over at Zayn and Perrie, who were grabbing their bags and luggage out of the top shelves above the seats. I grabbed her hand and walked her out of the plane with our luggage. I smelled the fresh air. It smells so familiar.

"So what is the game plan?" I heard Liam ask us as he helped Danielle down the stairs. Louis smiled as he walked over with Olivia and Eleanor.

"Well hopefully, Eleanor and you will get a room to share with Zayn and Perrie, Liam and Danielle are getting a hotel room either alone with with Niall and Olivia, unless they go to Olivia's to stay for the week and then Kaylie and I are at Kaylie's." I told them. Daniell nodded, looking around.

"Where's Niall anyway?" I joined in a pair of eyes for Niall, but he was no where. I heard a small chuckle from Olivia.

"He's still on the plane at the food buffet." Olivia replied with a small giggle. I rolled my eyes, oh Niall. Kaylie's hand had laid in my hand perfectly with the fingers intertwined, which brought a smile to my face. I could tell by her facial expression that she was still half asleep. She was so cute when she was half asleep. I walked away from the group and to a rental car Paul had registered for me. When I opened her car door, she leaned in to plant a kiss on my lips, but missed and kissed my dimple.

"Oops!" she giggled before sitting in her seat. I closed the door and sat in my seat on the other side, or the drivers' side. When I buckled up, I felt myself become nervous. Great, now to her parents. The people who remember Kaylie as the girlfriend of Zayn Malik.  How am I going to explain that I am the fiancé? Better yet, the guy who knocked up their daughter? I guess today I'm meeting her mother and then driving out to visit her father the next day, but for now, we are staying at her mother's. I began to drive down and out to her mother's house. As we drove down, my thoughts were beginning to grow. Only on the baby. Our baby boy. What were we going to do to get ready for him? What were we going to name him? What were we going to do when he's born? We either take him on tour or she stays in a house while I'm busy out on tour. Well, there are other solutions, but I shook my head to get the thoughts out. I glanced at Kaylie, who was past out. I giggle at her, she was so adorable. We were now a block away and on her street of her house. The house she grew up in. I was going to see how her life formed her into the beautiful, funny, and amazing girl she is today. Parking in her driveway, I tapped carefully on her shoulder.

"Babe, we're here." I whispered in her ear. Her eyes fluttered open as she admired the beauty in front of her. Her eyes were wide, her jaw was a bit dropped.

"Wow, it's still the way it looks." she told me, stepping out of the car. I didn't join her. Instead, I watched as she examined the area. I bit my lip, squeezing the steering wheel tightly. I was nervous. I don't even know if they like me as a person, let a lone being with their daughter. Kaylie walked over to my door and smiled. "You don't have to be afraid."

"The shit I pulled you through makes me more than just afraid." I told her, looking into her eyes. She opened my door and quickly pulled me out., wrapping her arms around my waist.

"Babe, you have nothing to worry about." she smirked at me, kissing my nose. Oh, how I love those nose kisses. I nodded and held her hand tightly. We made our way up the porch steps, towards the front door, and with Kaylie's fist, she gently knocked on the wood. I squeezed a hold of her hand.

"What if they don't like me?"

"Of course they're going to like you." and with that, Kaylie's mom walked onto the porch and smiled.

"Kals!" she embraced Kaylie into a tight hug and held her close for a little bit. I smiled at them as her eyes rose to mine.

"Ah, Harry! How you been?" she embraced me into a hug as well, hugging me real tight. She walked us into the room and smiled. The couch was a tan color with red pillows that matched with the loveseat. The walls were red with the boarder a creamy tan color and the other accessories were matching the room such as lamps, flowers, and frames of their childhood.

"Mom, we have some news to tell you." Kaylie sat us down with her mom on the couch.

"What is it dear?" she smiled at us. Kaylie rubbed her palms on her legs and smiled.

"Well you know I'm not dating Zayn, right?" she asked her.

"Of course dear. Why else would you be holding Harry's hand?" she joked. Kaylie giggled, but gave her a silent smirk.

"Well..." she paused, lifting her hand up to her face, reveling the ring. Her mother's eyes were widened now. She was in utter shock,.

"Oh my god! Is it...?"

"I'm engaged!" Kaylie stood up and hugged her mother.

"Congrats!" her mother kept herself standing while Kaylie sat back down next to me, holding onto my hand. They chatted among themselves as I began to day dream about our baby. The boy was going to be amazing. Our family is going to be perfect. I just can't get the plans out of my mind. What are we going to do? Stop, I can't think of this now.  "Would any of you like a beverage?"

"Actually, we have other news to tell you." I told her, squeezing her hand. Kaylie stood up and smiled.

"Actually, we do."

"What is it, honey?" Kaylie took a deep breath and smiled.

"If you haven't noticed, I've been getting a bit... bigger." she bit her lip. I knew she was trying not to think about her weight.

"Oh, I didn't. Maybe it's because you are the beautiful Kaylie who left to 'see the world' a almost a year now." she smiled at us.

"Well, I also haven't been on a monthly schedule for months now." she hinted her some more, but her mother wasn't getting any idea.

"What are you talking about?" she asked, a bit confused. I stood up next to Kaylie and put an arm around her waist, hip-to-hip styled.

"Mom, I'm pregnant." she said aloud. It was a few seconds before her mother replied.

"You're.... pregnant?"

"Yes." her mother then smiled and walked over to us.

"Oh my god! I'm going to be a grandmother!" she smiled, embracing us into more hugs. We spent the last twenty minutes talking about the plans for the wedding and the baby such as the place for the wedding, baby shower, baby appointments, and the party for the bride and groom, a baby shower, and all sorts of other things to plan. I felt a bit uneasy now.

"Have you thought of the place for the wedding?" she asked Kaylie.

"Well I've been thinking about the City Hall down in Philadelphia, but I also was thinking about the JFK plaza or 'love' Plaza." she said, looking at me. "Well whatever Harry's okay with."

"Whatever my girl wants is whatever I'm okay with." I kissed Kaylie, grabbing the luggage we had.

"Well you two go unpack upstairs while I finish dinner." her mother said, walking into the other room. Kaylie and I walked up the stairs and into Kaylie's old bedroom. It brought a smile to my face when I noticed what was in it. There were a lot of One Direction posters everywhere on the walls and doors. Also, the bedroom was filled with only purple with white décor. The bed covers were a dark purple and the dresser, walls, and other furniture were white. There were also olive green diamonds on the walls to fit perfectly. Yes, some of the furniture had this olive green color to make the room look cozy, but something didn't seem right in the room. Oh yeah, the posters.

"I thought you hated One Direction." I joked.

"Olivia must of put them up before we left America." she told me, putting down the bags. I sat on her bed and looked around some more. It seemed to be a Paris theme.

"Have you ever been to Paris?" I asked her, but she shook her head no.

"No, I wish I did but we went to England instead." she stopped, placing her lips on mine, smiling in between. "...and I'm glad I went." she whispered, placing her hand on my face. I pulled away, looking into her eyes.

"I'm glad too." I whispered back, watching as she sat next to me.

"Can I ask you something?"

"What are our plans?" she asked me. I just gave her a puzzled look.

"What do you mean?"

"When the baby is born. What are we doing?" she asked me.

"I was wondering the same thing." I told her. She nodded, looking at my smiled. Her hand touched mine, slowly rubbing up my arm.

"When the baby is born, I was thinking of finding a beautiful house to buy. Maybe with a big yard for the boy to play in. Also, what if we had a dog?"

"Whoa, slow down for a sec." I joked, looking into her eyes. She giggled to herself and then watched as I stood up.

"What if I have to go back on another tour?" I asked her. She shrugged.

"I'm not sure. I can't bring him on tour." she replied. I just looked at her, unsure of what to do or say. I knew we had plenty of time to explain but at the same time, I wasn't sure what to do and we should be at least thinking of ideas. She laid back on her bed and smiled.

"Let's just relax for a bit." I suggested. I laid back with her and cuddled with her. This is just amazing. I've never really had a relationship like this. Me, I would never thought this would become apart of me. I mean, it's never happened to me. I'm just the happiest person. I rested my eyes for a bit as my thoughts were only of her.
