1. First Day at the Beach

The sun that shone so bright,

The sand castles that stood,

The sun that disappeared into the moonlight,

The sand castles that disappeared into the sea

The marks of children's footsteps,

Marked deep into the wet sand,

The crumbs of bread,

The crumbs left by the people,

Are being pecked at by the seagulls

The children that splashed about in the sea,

The people who baked in an oven,

Flat as cookies layer out on the sand,

Have all vanished to wherever they came from

I remember my first day on the beach,

I jumped into the sky that was my sea,

I remember dancing about with the waves,

I remember my first day

The marks of children's footsteps,

The crumbs of bread,

The sand castles that stood,

The sun that shone so bright,

Have all disappeared into the moonlight

I remember dancing with the waves,

I remember as I began to shiver,

I got out of the sea that was my sky,

I dried myself with my towel that was my sun

  I remember how it burnt,

I remember how I jumped,

How I jumped back into the sky, Water, air, sand, sun, steam,

It was a never ending cycle

The sun that shone so bright, T

he sky a turquoise blue,

The sky of which I danced among,

The sun that brunt my delicate skin

I remember my first day at the beach
