That Smile

Ever since Ali was fifteen, she has hated Harry Styles and that smile of his. The last time she saw that smile in person was when Harry kissed her because of a bet and then laughed about it afterwards. Ali was heartbroken.
Four years later, Ali is happy, single, and ready to have fun over the summer, but that is quickly ruined when she meets the curly haired boy again, and he somehow thinks that everything is okay between them.

1. Flashback - [Chapter One]

He pressed his lips roughly against mine, almost needily. But I needed--wanted--this more than him. His hands traveled from the sides of my cheeks, down my neck, and settled upon my waist. My hands snaked around his shirt collar, pulling him closer. He swept his tongue across my bottom lip, begging for entrance, and I happily granted.

Our lips moved in sync, becoming one. It was funny how we actually ended up making out. It was a very funny story, actually...

-FLASHBACK-FIVE MINUTES EARLIER-

"I'll be right back!" I yelled to my best friend, Lacie. "I'm just going to get a drink!" She could barely hear me over the loud music, but she nodded, showing me she understood. I walked away from the living room and into the kitchen of Harry Styles's house. He's the most popular guy in school, and tonight he's throwing a party.

I made my way over to the cooler. Packed with beer, cokes, and waters, believe it or not, I grab a bottle of coke. No more beers for Ali, I thought to myself. I snaked through the people. The house was jam packed!

I spotted Lacie through the crowd and made my way over to her. I decided it was time for me to unscrew the lid of my Coke, but I shouldn't have. Before I know it, Harry is running to me, causing my Coke to spill all across my white tee shirt. Bad idea, considering I have on a hot pink bra underneath, and the Coke pilled on my chest.

"Dammit Harry!" I cursed. "Now people will see my bra and I have NOTHING ELSE to wear!"

I looked up at the curly haired boy and saw him laughing. "It's not funny! I need a new shirt!"

It's not like Harry and I are friends, I mean, we've go to school together since primary school, and everybody knows him.

His eyes grazed over my body, "Follow me," he said is a husky voice. He shot one look at his friends before guiding me up the stairs and into a room I presume is his. "Here," he threw a black tee shirt at me. "I'll close my eyes."

I rolled my eyes and turned around to face the wall. I slipped my white shirt over my head and tugged Harry's black shirt on. I turned around to see Harry smirking at me.

"Thanks," I mutter.

I turn to leave, but his voice stops me. "Don't go," he whispers. "I really like you, Al. Stay with me?" He pleads.

snorted, "Hell no. I'm not going to be your one night stand. You and I both know that's all you want me for." He frowns deeply. He steps closer, and soon enough I can feel his breath on my lips. "I really, really like you, Ali. Believe that."

-END OF FLASHBACK-

He pressed his lips roughly against mine, almost needily. But I needed--wanted--this more than him. His hands traveled from the sides of my cheeks, down my neck, and settled upon my waist. My hands snaked around his shirt collar, pulling him closer. He swept his tongue across my bottom lip, begging for entrance, and I happily granted.

Our lips moved in sync, becoming one.

All of my fears of this being a little game went away, and my feelings that were already there started to grow. Maybe he does like me. He breaks away from the kiss.

"I'll be right back."

"Take your time," I whisper, pecking his lips once more. His green orbs stare at me for a moment before he leaves. A smile was planted on my lips. I can't wait until he returns.

Only, he didn't. Ten, twenty, thirty minutes passed. I know I told him to take his time, but not that long. After about forty five minutes, I decided to look for him. I walked down the stairs to see Harry laughing and talking with his friend Nick. I frowned and walked up to him.

"You never came back?" I said, frowning, and Harry and Nick bursted out laughing. What is going on?

"You didn't think I actually wanted you, did you?" he laughed. "Why would I like you? It was all a game, Ali, and you fell for it. All it took was a simple kiss, and now I'm fifty pounds richer," he snickered. I felt the tears start to fall as I ran out of the house, Harry's laughs echoing behind me.
