The Runaway River

This is a story from Ancient Egypt. I wrote this for a class assignment so tell me what you guys think

By the way: The hieroglyphics in the cover mean gibberish. I'm not kidding! The ? mean I don't know the translation to that:

Not kidding, that's what it means, you can look it up if you want

5. Akhom

At the farm, Akhom sat there, thinking of her. He couldn’t get her out of his mind. I must find her, he thought; she’s just so… amazing. I wish she had said more. To him, Cinictha was everything. Her voice was what he was made to hear. Her beautiful eyes, what he was made to look into. Her silky hair, what he was made to touch. Her wonderful skin, what he was meant to hold. He couldn’t think of anything he wouldn’t do to spend one, just one more minute with her. I must see her! He thought to himself. She might be in the market tomorrow.  I will look for her, he decided. If he was going to look for Cinictha tomorrow, then he must get a good night’s rest. He went to the bank of the Nile and washed his face. The river is a little low, he thought worriedly. He ignored it, and went back inside to sleep on his bed mat.

I know this one was a little short but I had to separate it
