Lauren Mett, a 19 year old college student who just wants to live life to the fullest and be happy, is stressed out about finals and her tragic breakup with her boyfriend. As she is driving to college she gets a text from the worst person possible. Frustrated and feeling the tears stream down her face she closes her eyes for a second. The next thing she knows her car is nose to nose with another. Totaled cars, trips to the hospital, and both barely injured, Harry and Lauren both come out alive.
It all feels like a dream, but what happens when they wake up?

13. The Great Escape

He gripped the edge of the bathroom sink trying to figure out his escape plan.  He had to find Lauren.  She was the only thing left on his mind; her and the reason why she left him.  He thought she loved him, and he loved her too.  He had never actually told her those three little words, but that was only because he was afraid of being hurt… again.

He thought over his life in the short time they had been together, and the car crash.  In this time he had scarcely been around the boys, and hadn't been working on their album like he should have.  He couldn't bring himself to leave Lauren in that time though, for he feared she would find someone else.  Someone who had the time for her and wouldn't have to leave for tour.  Someone who lived a normal life, and wasn't attacked by fans whenever they left the apartment.

This thought struck something inside of him.  There had been no fans lately, little people at all actually.  Everything seemed empty around him, but he never noticed because he had been with Lauren, the person he thought had been the love of his life, but she walked out when he needed her most.

He then got the strength he had needed the entire time, and changed out of the hospital gown and into his clothes.  He slowly opened the door to the bathroom and checked to see if anyone was in his room. Empty.  He slipped Lauren’s note in his pocket, and headed to the door.

Act like a visitor. He thought to himself.  No one will suspect you if you just blend in with all the other visitors.  Opened the door to his room and slipped out slowly, shutting the door behind him.  He now had to do something that had become very difficult since the creation of One Direction, blend in.  Almost everywhere he went people would recognize him.  Well, before the crash.  Now people didn't seem to notice him, which was working to his advantage as he made it to the elevator successfully.  As he made it out the door to the hospital, he noticed one flaw to his otherwise perfect plan.

He didn't have a car.
