"Dad what do you want for dinner?" I asked for the third time this week. For some reason my dad had been really spacy this week. Not that this wasn't his normal mood, You see when I was about three my mother had died and ever since then my dad never experienced happiness. "How bout pizza," My dad replied not really paying much attention.

"Dad we had pizza yesterday," I said trying my best not to sound annoyed. "And the day before that and the day before that," I muttered under my breath.

"What was that honey?" He asked looking up at me.

"Oh nothing I just said pizza was...fine" I sighed. Do you know how annoying it is to have a father who acts like a helpless baby? Well I do, that's for sure. Turning around I opened the freezer.

"Uh-oh..." I mumbled.

"What's the matter?" Asked my dad.

"Um well we don't have any more frozen pizzas." I replied trying to sound disappointed.

"Oh that's fine we can order some!" He smiled.

"Yay..." Was it just me or did that sound totally fake. Walking up to my room with the pizza menu and phone in my hand I stopped. I looked at the wall and let out a small gasp. There was a face in the wall! Now I know you're probably thinking something like: "Ya there's a face on the wall see!" And point to a picture but I am dead serious when I say there is a face in the wall. Reaching out to poke it my hand went through the wall.

"What the heck?" I said in shock. I stuck my head through the wall preparing for impact. It never came. I had gone through the wall! Oh my god! The sight in front of me was surreal. There were people but they were floating and you could see through them. Animals too!

"Where am I?" I questioned no in particular.

"The afterlife," Came a soft voice from behind me.

"Wha-" I stopped. I knew that face.

"Kelsey..." The woman whispered.

"Mom?" I choked out. She was beautiful. Long flowing black hair. Bright Green eyes.

"Yes," She replied. "Welcome to the afterlife sweetie."

"Dad will be so hap- wait will he be able to come?" I asked.

"Of course but only you can open the link to my world."

"This is so weird but some how familiar," I muttered.

"Yes it is familiar, I showed you how to do this before I died so you could use it some day."

"I can't wait to show dad!" I smiled as I walked with my mom. My life was finally going to become whole.
