Oh my gosh. Jacob was chatting me on Facebook! This was another day of laptops all morning. Carmen and Mietta wanted a class-wide Facebook chat. Jacob was the first one to join- some private chat time! It started to take a dive off the deep end- somewhat literally. He invited me to go to the beach with the rest of the class. Oh shoot. I needed an excuse. Anything I told him, would be totally opposite when they got there and saw me dive into the water and my tail appear! I told him, "My dad and I have a lot of stuff to do." Perfect! When everyone leaves, I could just tell my dad what was going on and he would find a way to stall until they left the beach! Things went just as planned. He called Mom and told her that we would be home late, then went to different stores until they left. Good thing they were only staying for an hour! Now, I'm safely back home. PHEW! Just hope they don't invite me again tomorrow! I was thinking more about Luke and Jacob. I love the water so much more than the land! I would much rather live the rest of my life in water than on land. I would never have to worry about keeping a secret from anyone. If I were to marry Luke or Jacob, I would rather marry Luke. No worries about the secret and NO SUN! When you live your whole life underwater, you get sunburned really easy. Plus, my mom has really pale skin in her genes, which I inherited. Unfortunately, I would never see Carmen or Mietta again. But, if it was either no Carmen and Mietta or no Rachel and Clare, (no offense), but I would choose no Carmen and Mietta. They can sometimes be really rude and insensitive without even knowing it. Humans naturally have a good side and a bad side. Mermaids are perfect creatures. The people you would rather spend your whole life with. Carmen and Mietta sometimes act like me being part mermaid is the weirdest thing ever. They don't understand how I could actually like seaweed salad or really wanting a pet seahorse to ride on. Speaking of that, I THINK I'M GETTING ONE FOR MY BIRTHDAY! Anyway, Carmen and Mietta are still my best human friends and those are normally small details I overlook, but when it comes to deciding who you would rather spend your life with, those small details are very important. I have to go, Mom, Dad, and I are going out to eat at this- you guessed it! Seafood place. Adios!
