6. Chapter 6

Harrys P.O.V.

I'm really worried about Jessica.  I quickly called for an ambulance and told her everything will be okay. The ambulance got here sooner than I expected. They took Jess to the nearest hospital. I followed hastily behind them, in a matter of minutes we arrived at our destination. I ran to the desk and they told me I'm not allowed in the room yet, but I walked to the room number they told me anyway. By the door I heard Jessies muffled sobs. I knew I shouldn't but I didn't care. I knocked. A blond nurse opened the door.

I pushed passed her and hurried over to Jess. She grabbed my hand and I gave her a small  smile.

Jessicas P.O.V.

Harry was here, and I brightened. He squeezed my hand and smiled at me, allowing the nervous ache in my chest to dissolve slightly. And then...and then the nurse interrupted our little moment.

"Alright Jessica," she sighed. "You have fractured your ankle so you will have to wear a cast for about a month, your'e lucky that the type of fracture you have doesn't automatically call for a 6-8 week cast. But it may, you will visit an orthopedist in a month and go from there."

"O-okay," I said weakly.

She began to wrap my ankle in a blue colored cast and Harry squeezed my hand again.

"Every things going to be fine, Jess." Harry leaned down to whisper in my ear.

"Thanks," I smiled at him. A genuine smile. A real genuine smile that said, 'thank you, thank you for being here for me this whole time. I don't know what I would do without you.'

"Is this your boyfriend, Jessica?" The blonde nurse (Kathy) questioned, still working on my foot.

"Oh, no! He's my cousin." I smiled at her.

"Oh, that's lovely. I don't see that a lot. You two look close." She looked up at me.

"Yeah, we are..."

When they were finally done, I called a taxi and took her to my house. I carried her out and to my room.

"No! You don't need to carry me. I'm fine!" She objected.

"But I want to, little one." I pat her head. "Besides, your'e as light as a feather."

She gave up and let me carry her.

I handed her a t-shirt and turned around so she could put it on. After, I helped her get the sweats on and she blushed.

"Why you blushing, love?" I grinned, teasing her.

"I don't know." She said sheepishly and I smiled. I pulled her under the covers and got in with her, letting her snuggle up into my side.

It wasn't the first time we slept in the same bed. And we didn't care. We didn't do anything but sleep so there was nothing wrong about it.

She sighed sleepily, "thank you so much, Harry. I really appreciate you took care of me today." She yawned. "I'm so lucky to have you."

"Oh of course, Jess. Goodnight."

"Goodnight, Harry."
