2. Chapter 2

As Harry began to step out of the vehicle I immediately began to feel my face turn red. On his way over to me he turned and looked at Louis and Niall shaking his head and laughing. He looked up at me giving me the famous Harry Styles grin. I began to blush all over again. Shit Zoe, you need to pull yourself together. It’s not like he has the most amazing dimples. Or the hottest curls. Or natural charm. Just calm do- “You look cute when you talk to yourself,” said a voice interrupting my unusual thoughts. “I”m Harry, but you already knew that huh?” All I could do was nod my head and semi smile. Harry just laughed. What’s wrong with me! I’ve never been like this around a guy before! Ugh. I need to say something. Just say something like hello, yes hello will work.

“H-h-h-hi,” I stammered out. This made him laugh even more causing me to laugh along like it was a joke. Apparently Louis noticed because he left Niall in the middle of their argument to come see what was so funny.

“Harry, I thought you were asleep,” Louis said more like a statement than a question.

“I was until Zayn screamed in my ear,” Harry replied matter-of-factly. I began to laugh uncontrollably causing all three of them to look at me questionably, unsure if they should leave or stay. “Liam is still asleep, though.”

“You dropped your paper on the ground.” Niall said in his sweet Irish accent. He bent down and picked it up. “Zo-ee? I’ve always loved that name.” he told me.

I smiled. “Actually, it’s pronounced Zo. The E is silent”

    He blushed, “I’m sorry--”

I cut him off. “No, don’t worry about it. People call me that all the time. I’m used to it by now.” I said with a smile. He smiled back at me. I handed Louis the papers, and he put them in his pocket. “So, um, what do we do about the scratches on my rental car?” I asked him sheepishly.

“Don’t worry about it. We’ll take care of it, it’s no big deal.” He smiled at me. He has such a lovely smile, it reaches all the way up to his eyes. “What are you doing here in London?”

I sighed, “well, I’ve always admired England, and when I graduated from school and got my associates degree, I decided I’d come to live here. I just got here today, actually.” I’m surprised I was acting so cool, I mean Louis Tomlinson himself is talking to me! My 16-year-old self would be completely freaking out if she was in this situation; a few years ago I was a complete Directioner. Luckily, I grew out of it. “But,” I continued. “I’m actually staying in Ruislip. I’ve always wanted to live in a cute, country town. A city as big and crowded as London is too overwhelming for me.”

Harry said, “We love Ruislip! We travel through there all the time. They have an amazing coffee shop there.” He ran his fingers through his hair. That was always my favorite thing he would do; I would practically faint every time I watched him do it in interviews when I was younger.

“Guys, the photo shoot starts in 10 minutes!” Zayn shouted, sticking his head out the window again.

“Well,” Louis said casually, “looks like we better go before we get yelled at, again.” Niall began to pout a little as if silently protesting to leaving and Harry’s smile slowly began to fade. “So, don’t worry about the car, we got it covered.” I smiled. “It was so nice to meet you.” They all walked back to the car and once everyone was situated Louis shifted the car into drive and began to drive to wherever they were headed too. I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair wondering if I would ever see them again.

Probably not. I sighed. Oh well, at least I get to say I met them. Well, three of them. Liam was sleeping and I didn’t really talk to Zayn. But either way, I met them. Now it’s time for me to over contemplate everything, like usual.

As I began to search for my phone under my seat I can’t help but wonder if I’ll ever see them again. “Of course,” I said not bothering to keep my thoughts to myself, “they probably won't even personally call me to get this car fixed. They’ll probably have their assistant or agent or whatever call me. Ugh where is my phone!” I suddenly I heard my phone vibrate to an incoming call- probably from my mother- and I moved to the sound feeling for it. Eventually I was able to see the light between my center console and seat but somehow also under the seat, at what seemed to be an impossible angle.

Well this should be fun.
