A guy comes along, hood up, blue eyes and soft blonde hair. He keeps his face hidden, but when Susie sees him properly, it's Niall Horan, her celebrity crush. Ummm...remember sequel is coming soon, am working on the title and cover as we speak! Bit of an early update today, because several people asked me to, so yeah hope it makes you happy!! Enjoy the chapter:

Susie's POV

Niall met my parents.

So now it's time for me to meet his parents.

Oh God. Now I know how he felt when I told him...

Deep breath, deep breath.

"Are you okay, babe?" Niall took my hand on the plane ride over to Mullingar, and I nodded my head slowly.

I wasn't all right. Not really. But I couldn't let Niall see my fear.

What if they didn't like me? What if- what if they had high expectations and I dropped below any of them? What if they ended up hating me so much that Niall had to leave me to please his family?

See, my brain was seriously panicking.

"Susie, you're obviously not all right. Would you mind telling me what's going on?"

I looked to my left at Niall who was sitting in the aisle seat of the small-ish plane. "I just, I'm just worried you're parents aren't gonna like me."

My boyfriend smiled sadly, "Susie, baby, you need to have more confidence in yourself. They'll love you, I just know it. Anyway, even if they didn't like you, I like you, and that's all that matters, right?"

I nodded, feeling a lot happier. "Thanks, Nialler."

"Anytime, princess." He kissed me softly, but stopped and laughed when my stomach rumbled loudly. "Do you want some food?"

"Um...yes please?"

Niall waved at a friendly looking air hostess and she glided over on dark blue heels. "How may I help you, sir?"

"Ooh, sir, that's very posh, isn't it." I chuckled at Niall's important looking expression as he puffed out his chest.

"Yes please. My girlfriend here would like something to eat. Is there a menu we could take a look at?"

The girl nodded at us and pulled out a laminated sheet which must have been the menu. "Here you go. Do you know what you'd like?"

I stretched over to read the menu and instantly spotted my chosen meal. "Ah. Chile con carne, fries and a brownie please."

Niall grinned. "Aye, I'll have the same, thanks. And, Susie, before you begin to argue, I've dragged you out here to Ireland, so everything is on me."

"But, baby, I want to pay my own way-"

He held up a hand. "This trip is my treat to you. Will you accept that?"

I nodded, rolling my eyes at Niall and looking up at the air hostess who grinned back with a 'oh, aren't they cute' expression on her face.

"Coming right up. That'll be £16.98, please."

Niallgot out his wallet and pulled out his credit card, managing to pull another one out in the process. I picked it up whilst he was paying for the food and studied it.

It was black all over, save for a gold handprint and some words, reading: Nando's High Five.

"Er, Niall, what's this card used for?" I questioned him and he looked down and smiled.

"That's my favourite card."

I frowned and he laughed again. "It means I get to eat at Nando's free whenever I want in any of their restaurants."

My eyes widened. "Oh my God! That's so cool, Nialler! No wonder it's your favourite card!"

He grinned, "Yeah, they give them to celebrities who mention Nando's more than once in an interview or something."

I thanked Niall as our meals came, and tucked in. "Do you have any pets?"

I mean, I was going to be staying at his house for the next two days. Why couldn't I know what pets he had?

"Sure. I have a cat called Jess. And I used to have two fish."

"Aw, what were they're names?"

"Ben and Jerry." Niall grinned sheepishly at me.

"That's adorable. What happened to them?"

I immediately felt guilty. "Sorry, Niall. You don't have to talk about them if you don't want to..."

Niall let out a great roaring laugh. "No, it's nothing like that. They were just two fish, for God's sake. It's just that what happened to them was quite embarassing..."

"Yeah. I overfed them."

Now it was my turn to laugh. Overfeeding a fish? That sounded right coming from Niall! "Ah, Niall, that's so sad!" I tried to keep a sad expression plastered onto my face, but it wasn't really working, as I kept bursting into laughter again.

Eventually, Niall joined in, and it wasn't long after that, that we arrived in Ireland.

Ah dear. Time to face the parents.

"Welcome, welcome!" Maura, Niall's mother, waved us all in and I smiled gratefully. At least she looked nice and sounded nice.

"How are you, baby boy?"

Niall winced at his mum and I stifled a smirk. He was obviously a Mummy's Boy, then.

"Doing just great, Mum, just great. This is Susie, the girl I was telling you about."

Maura grinned and hugged me tightly. "Ah! The famous Susie!"

Chuckling, I hugged her back and she bought us into the sitting room where apparently Chris, Niall's stepdad and Greg, Niall's brother were waiting for us.

As we stepped in to the cosy surroundings, I spotted Greg instantly. Not only had I seen pictures of him and Denise (his wife), on their wedding day, but he looked very similar to Niall, especially his eyes and nose.

He got up with Denise and patted Niall on the back roughly with a man-hug. Denise hugged me lightly and grinned, showing off her pearly white teeth. She looked very stylish and comfy in jeans and a hoodie.

Greg shook my hand and smiled warmly. "Hi, Susie. Come and have some tea with us. We're all dying to hear about you. From what Niall says, I take it you're into cooking and your studies?"

I nodded, glad that he was starting up a conversation. "Yes, I love my cooking, thanks. I bake for Niall all the time."

Niall squeezed my hand.

"And yeah, my studies are really important too. I worked really hard to get where I am now, I don't want to give all that up, and I'm so grateful that my wonderful boyfriend realises that too. He's just amazing."

Denise smiled over at Maura and Niall's mother winked at him, which I found slightly encouraging. Did they sort of like me?

I sat chatting with Denise in the sitting room while Niall, Chris and Greg helped Maura in the kitchen. Denise told me what she was doing at the moment work-wise, and went upstairs at one point to fetch Theo, Niall's nephew.

He was the most adorable baby ever, the spitting image of Niall, with twinkly blue eyes and soft blond hair. "He's just gorgeous. You must be such a proud mother."

Denise grinned. "Definitely, we're so lucky with Theo, he never gives us any trouble."

"That's lovely, Denise."

She nodded and Chris called us in to dinner, patting me on the head on the way in. "Hi, Susie. Didn't get to speak to you much, but I hope you're very happy with Niall and I hope he treats you right."

"He certainly does, Chris."

"Glad to hear it."

Dinner was lovely, a range of meats and vegetables in a casserole, and I was so full afterwards that I couldn't even manage some of Maura's homemade brownies. She told me she'd made them specially though, so I said I'd take some to eat tomorrow.

After a pleasant family talk, Niall and I went up to his old bedroom, which was plastered with posters of Bon Jovi and Justin Bieber.

"I really ought to take those JB ones down now, shouldn't I?" Niall chuckled and I agreed, cuddling up to him in the bed.

"Goodnight Niall, I love you."

"I love you too, Susie. Sleep tight."

"Don't let the bugs bite."

"And if they do, squeeze them tight." Niall whispered the last words to me and I closed my eyes.

In the morning, Maura cooked a full English breakfast and warmed me up with a mug of hot chocolate, my favourite drink.

"Thanks, Maura. Your house is lovely, by the way."

"Thank you and your welcome, honey bun. Niall's dad is popping over today. He's gonna take you two out to lunch and get to know you better."

I smiled over at Niall, who winked back.

"That sounds great. I'll just go and change." Hopping up from the counter, I pulled Niall along with me and we raced up the stairs together.

I loved Maura. She was so- so, understanding about Niall and I...sleeping in the same room. She never seemed to make a fuss and her brilliant personality matched Niall's.

We messed around for a bit, playing an Irish version of Monopoly (I won!!) and I got to meet Molly the cat, who was incredibly cute.

At two o'clock, on the dot, Niall's father turned up and greeted me warmly. "Hiya Susie. I'm Bobby."

"Hello, Bobby."

Greeting his son and congratulating him on some award or something, he drove us in his BMW to a local pub, where many girls lined the streets with posters, waving and grinning madly.

Oh dear. Not the fans, please...

I got out the car with Niall's arm wrapped around me, holding me close and safe. He knew of my fear. He knew what would happen if they...

"Niall, Niall, please come over here!"

"We love you Niall!!"

"Can I marry you?"

I grinned at Niall and everyone seemed to finally notice that I was with him. Oh God.

"Susie, can I get a picture with you?"

"Susie, you're so pretty. I love you!"

"I ship Niall and Susie!"

They...they speak

Oh my.

I never expected this...

Niall squeezed my hand. "You can do this."

I slowly walked away from my boyfriend, over to the fans that had called my name. Smiling widely, I signed a few notebooks and took a couple of pictures with the girls.

One young girl who looked about the age of eleven gave me a little handmade notebook that read: Reasons why I love Susie and Niall.

Looking around, I noticed that many of the fans were smiling and waving, not just at Niall, but to me as well.

It felt so good to be liked, to be smiled at.

I took Niall's hand and we walked into the pub, grinning from ear to ear.

They were accepting me. The fans were finally accepting me.

Yes, there would be some people who didn't like the fact I was with Niall...but, loved Niall, and I guess that was all that really mattered.

The next day, I met some more of Niall's relatives, including his cousins, and he toured me around Mullingar, which was an extremely pretty place. At about dinner time, Bobby and the rest of Niall's family drove us to the airport and waved us off, Maura getting all emotional at her baby leaving again.

It was sad to leave, but I promised Maura and Chris that I would come back soon.

And hopefully, hopefully, I would.

Ahh, aren't Niall's family just the best?
