6. Meeting Grams

Harry’s POV

We started out skating a bit and made small talk, and that was when I decided to ask about her. She told me all about her family and where she lives. I watched her curiously and thought it was cute how she held her head down and looked up every once in awhile. Wow, that’s so cool that her mom’s an author. She asked me if grams and I wanted to come over for dinner tonight! YES! I thought to myself. I decided to play the cool card. “Um ya! That sounds great!” Good job Harry.

“Do you want to come inside for a bit?” She asked. Oh my goodness! I need to change and talk to grams.

“Do you want a ride on my snowmobile?” Nice one Harry. Giving myself little pep talks seems to be boosting my self esteem. Even around a girl as beautiful as Emma. I handed her a helmet and off we went! She gripped onto my waist, and oh man!, it felt so right. I smiled to myself and drove back to my grandma’s house. We arrived there and I hopped off and then helped her down. We walked up to the house and stomped inside. “Hey grams! I’m back and I brought a guest!”

“A guest?” Grandma came rushing through the doorway to the washroom and smiled.

“Hi. My name’s Emma. My grandma lives right across the lake.”

“Nice to meet you young lady! I’m Grandma Styles but you can call grams or Marina.”

“Marina, that’s such a lovely name.” Emma said.

“Why, thank you! And I must say you’re gorgeous. Harry, she’s a keeper!” Grandma yelled the last part while exiting the room.

“Grandma! She’s not my girlfriend! I just met her!” I started to blush like crazy.

“Whatever you say Harry!” Grams yelled from the living room.

“Your grandma’s really sweet.” Emma said and turned to face me. Goodness, those eyes were hazel and mesmerizing. We stood there staring into each other’s eyes until she pulled away because she was getting a phone call. I noticed her ring tone was Little Things. Awe! She’s a directioner! I am so glad she didn’t flip out.
