Narrator: Five years have passed. The Patels have sold most of their property which helped Abhimanyu to clear most of his father’s debts. They have also sold their huge mansion and have moved into a three-bedroom apartment in Gurgaon. However, Abhimanyu still needs to repay the loan of Rs.5crores, taken by his father from Mr. Jasvinder Singh Sodhi , a garment exporter. Let us hear a conversation between Mr. Sodhi and Abhimanyu, at the former’s residence.

Abhimanyu (embarrassed): It’ll take time, Sir. I am sorry. You know I’m working very hard.

Mr.Sodhi: Oh! Don’t worry. You are just like my son. But I have a proposition to make, which will be beneficial to you.

Abhimanyu (Curious): Yes. I’d like to know Sir.

Mr. Sodhi: (cunningly): You know Abhimanyu my daughter Harpreet has always had a soft corner for you. She is also unbelievably attractive. You know I’m growing old. I need an intelligent and reliable person to look after my business. So you know what I mean?

Abhimanyu (confused and shy): I do like Harpreet, but I need time to think.

Mr. Sodhi (calculative): Sure. Take your time young man.
