32. A BF! cont.

We drove to Finn's flat that he shared with Jack. We talked to Jack for a minute, but had to leave because we had reservations. When we arrived at the restaurant everyone outside stared at us for being in a limo. Awkward. The girls and I were in shock. We were at Chez Mathieu. This was one of the nicest restaurants in London.

“Niall! How'd you get a reservation here?” Virginia asked in shock.

“Darling, you do realize I'm famous right?” Niall said, causing us all to laugh.

“Oh shut up.” She said trying to hide her smile.

“Horan, reservation for 6.” He said to the matire d'.

“Right this way sir.” He said taking us to a private room in the back.

We ordered our dinner and Niall ordered a bottle of wine.

“So what's the occasion?” I asked Louis.

“So Niall, what'd you think of that basketball game last night?” Lou asked Niall, obviously avoiding my question.

“It was so intense! When they almost lost, but pulled it together in the last minute!”

“Niall, you didn't watch a basketball game last night?” Virginia said. I could tell she was confused as well.

Virginia's POV

Well this night was getting stranger and stranger by the second. The boys wouldn't answer any questions. We could ask them something simple like 'What's my favorite color?' and they would find a way to avoid it. Even Finn started avoiding us. This was it. Bathroom break.

“Nic. Cole. Bathroom.” I said standing up.

“Agreed.” I said sending an ice cold stare to Lou.

“What the hell is up with the boys?” I said, beyond pissed.

“I don't know, but if Louis doesn't start talking, he WON'T be sleeping with me tonight. He can have the fuckin' couch.”

“Same with Niall. Nic, why aren't you talking.” I said glaring at her.

“Well it's obvious they're planning something. And I don't think we should be getting mad, because it could be a good thing.”

“It doesn't matter. They shouldn't be IGNORING us.” Cole said, using over dramatic hand gestures.

“Finn is ignoring you too. Doesn't that bother you? It's not even like the boys are just talking to themselves, and we're talking to ourselves. We're trying to talk to them, and they change the subject. I'm so freakin' pissed.” I said.

“She's gonna have a BF!” Cole shouted, playing along.

Some random lady walked into the bathroom at the same time Cole said about the BF.

“What's a BF?” The lady asked confused.

“A Bitch Fit!” Cole said looking terrified.

“Come on losers, we better get back out there.” Nic said as she rolled her eyes at us.

We walked through the restaurant and back into our private room. While we were gone our food arrived.

“Great! The food would come while I was gone!” I said, sitting down.

“Everything ok?” Niall asked me, looking actually concerned.

“So Virginia, how about that lady in there asking us that?! Haha! She played along perfectly.” Cole said avoiding the boys.

“I know right! It was hilarious!” I send, sending a smirk Niall's way.

We finished our dinner and decided to order dessert.

“I'd like this for the whole table.” Niall said, he showed Louis and Finn, and the both agreed.

“Are you ever going to stop ignoring us?” Cole asked the boys.

“Dessert's here!” Niall said half jumping out of his chair.

In front of everyone they placed Mocha Pots de Crème. Cole said it was a pudding like dessert that was popular in France. I was the only one who didn't get it.

“Niall. Where's my pudding? Or won't you answer that?”

“I'll go check love.” About a minute later Niall came out carrying a plate with the heart shaped bowl, just like the others, except I had a small velvet black box in mine and written in chocolate on the rim of the plate was “Will You Marry Me?” I turned to look at Niall who was now on one knee.

“Virginia Elizabeth, you've made me happy, and you've made me angry. We have our good days, and we definitely have our bad days. But we always come back stronger after those bad days. By asking you this, I promise to always be there for you. Even if I'm not there in body, I promise to be there in spirit. I promise to love you unconditionally. I promise to love without ultimatums. I promise to love you until my very last breath. You are single handily the reason I wake up in the morning. You are without a doubt, the best thing thing that could have ever happened to me. And now that you're in my life, I cannot imagine a life without you in it. I remember being too shy to ask you out, or even ask for your number. Then I saw you when Nicole opened the door to your house. You took me breath away. And you've continued to every day since. Virginia, you are me Princess. And if you allow me, I can be your Prince. So marry me!” He got up and grabbed the box out of my bowl. I looked over to see Nic and Cole crying their eyes out.

I'll admit it, I was crying a little. “You know this is borderline cliché, right?” I said laughing.

“Is that a yes?”

“Of course it is.” I said as he slipped the diamond on my finger. “I do have one problem though.” I added.

“What's that Princess?” He asked as a concerned look spread across his face.

“I don't have any pudding!” I said causing everyone to laugh.

“I'll get you some!” Niall said walking away.

“So one question.” Nicole said to Lou.

“Yes?” He responded.

“Why were you guy avoiding us all night?”

“Well, we that wasn't our plan, but then you asked what the occasion was, and then you got so mad and I thought it was hilarious so we kept it going.”

“Really. Really? You did it because I got mad?” Uh oh. Nicole was really pissed now.

“She's gonna have a BF!” I shouted causing Nic to laugh.

“Nicole, love, calm down, we don't need you passing out again.”

“I'm not going to.” She said getting up and walking out of our private room.

“Hey where's Cole going?” Niall asked as he walked back in with my pudding.

“Good question. Only one person can get that information. Louis.”

“She just needs to calm down.”

“Louis William Tomlinson!” I shouted at him.

“Fine.”

Louis' POV

I know it was a dick move, but she's so cute when she's angry. I walked out of the restaurant and I couldn't find Nicole. Maybe she went to sit in the Limo. I walked over to the limo, but she wasn't in there. I decided to call her.

“What.” She said flatly.

“Where the hell are you?”

“On my way home.”

“How?”

“I have legs.”

“Nicole Elizabeth! You CANNOT walk home.”

“Wanna bet?”

“I'm coming to get you.”

“No. You're not.”

“I'm in the limo.”

“How is everyone else supposed to get home dipshit?”

“I called another limo to pick them up.”

“Whatever. I'm hanging up.”

“Nicole, don't hang up.”

“Why the fuck shouldn't I?”

“Because I'm sorry.”

“Good.”

“So you're not going to hang up?”

“No I'm going to.” And with that, the call was disconnected. Shit. I was scanning the side of the road for her, but she wasn't anywhere, and she couldn't have gotten very far. I was going to call her again. No answer. Shit Nicole. The limo went to whole way to our house and I saw a cab pull away from our house. Really you called a cab?

“Nicole!” I shouted as I walked in the house.

“What?” She said walking down the stairs.

“I'm glad you're ok! I was worried sick about you.”

“I'm sure you were.” She said walking back upstairs.

“Nicole, I know it was stupid and immature, but I'm sorry. There was no reason for it. I think you're cute when you're mad and the angrier you got, the cuter you got. I love you! And I didn't really think it was a big deal, but it was and I'm sorry. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry.”

“Louis that's just it. There was no reason for it. It hurt you know? Being ignored by the one person who is never supposed to ignore me.”

“I may not have answered but I wasn't ignoring you. I noticed everything, even the little things. Like the way you picked out the soggy lettuce from your salad. And the way that every time I looked at you, you smiled, but then realized you weren't talking to me, so you bit your lip. I noticed, I notice.”

“I'm going to bed.” She said as she turned again to walk up the stairs.

I wasn't going to let her get away that easily. I picked her up bridal style and carried her to our bedroom, giving her kisses on the neck, cheek and forehead. I laid her down on the bed and took off her shoes. I took off her jewelry and placed the shoes and jewelry in the closet. I got a pair of yoga pants and a tank top for her to wear as she took off her dress. When she was lying on the bed again I laid beside her.

“I'm never going to stop loving you.” I whispered in her ear before going to sleep.
