Albert's POV

By the time I was visited again, I was already on the brink of death. My stomach was knotted up, and my throat just kept getting tighter. He was starving me, the bastard.

Luke smirked, "No... I just have plans for you. If Melody cooperates, and I think she will, this will all end the way I want it to."

I narrowed my eyes on him, "Don't hurt her." I growled.

Luke chuckled lightly, rising from his chair, "Please... I don't hurt the people I love unless someone forced my hand."

He replied, starting toward the door before pausing, "Don't worry about Melody, Fraiser, she's in good hands now."

He closed the door, and I sat up the best I could.

I was sure that Luke was lying... Melody wasn't in good hands, not while she was a vampire.

He had something up his sleeve...
