19. Chapter 18

"Look who's here. Don't get a visit from you a lot, do we? Where's my present, girl?" He asked. Zayn's eyes widened at his tons, though a brushed it off and laughed. "Hey old man." I said. "Who you calling old? Do I see a grey hair on your head?" He joked. "I don't know, but I see quite a few on yours, Santa." I teased. He laughed at me, holding out his hands for a hug. I smiled at him, rushing over to embrace him into a hug. "I missed you daddy." I said. "I missed you too, honey." He glanced over at Zayn, narrowing his eyes. "Who's this pretty boy?" He asked. "Don't be mean. This is my boyfriend, Zayn." I said. "Boyfriend, eh?" Holding his head high, he walked over. "I own a gun, mate. If you-" He started. "Dad, enough. Zayn can sue your ass anyway." I said. "Yeah, I know. I've seen his face everywhere." He said. Zayn cleared his throat, scratching the back of his head. "Uh, nice to meet you Sir." "You too, Son. I guess." He said. I rolled my eyes at my dad’s behavior, and laced my hands with Zayn’s. He smiled at me, though looked up at my dad who was talking to one of my uncles. "He's always like this," I mumbled. "Don't worry about it." He nodded slowly. "He seems to hate me." He said. I shook my head, a smile on my lips. "No."

He glanced around the yard, watching all the different people who I smiled at. "I guess it's time to introduce you to my family. Be careful though. They're crazier than me." I said.

After a fist pumping night, Zayn and I found ourselves in the quiet living room around twelve o'clock, just chatting to my parents about everything. Zayn seemed eager to listen to my father’s stories about my past; making me grimace each time though Zayn just squeezed my hand. "You know," my mum muttered, half drunk. "Jason misses you." I ran my tongue over my teeth, pursing my lips while Zayn tightened his grip on my hand. "Mum," I muttered. Dad wrapped his arm around her shoulders, and rolled his eyes. "He comes around often," he continued for her. "Always asking if we've talked to you." I looked at Zayn, who had curiosity burning his eyes, and hints of jealously. "I think this a conversation for another time," I mumbled. "I'll see you guys later." I said. Dad sighed, standing up with mum. "Don't be like that. Head up to your old room, honey. Just no funny business." I rolled my eyes at his words, but a small thank you escaped my lips.

Tugging Zayn up the stairs, he told them both a good-night before following me. His eyes searching the dark corridors before we reached the last door on the left. Pushing it open, I quickly light up the room. I blinked. My room looked like nothing. My walls were a bare white, the bed matching. Sighing at the bareness, I switched it off again and looked over at Zayn who had been unusually quiet. "What's wrong?" I asked him, taking ahold of his hands. Instead of answering my question, he fiddled with my hands. "Who's Jason?" Hearing his name made me sigh, and I pulled away from him. "No one." I said. "It didn't seem like no one when your parents mentioned him. I could see it in your face." Leaning closer, he pushed me gently against the wall. "Now, who is he?" He asked. Sighing deeply, I pressed my forehead against his. "He's...He was my first serious relationship." His face hardened. "Oh really?"

I nodded, looking down. "We had broken up because of me moving away, so it wasn't out of us losing interest in each other." He nodded slowly, pursing his lips. "Did each other?" I groaned. "Why is this so important?"

"Because my girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend seems to be in love with her, and I want to know if she still likes him." He said. Leaning forward, I pecked his lips. "Not since I met you," I admitted. It was a fact; I hadn't gotten him into my head since I saw this gorgeous boy. He peaked his eyes open. "Really?" He asked. "Really, really," I promised. Grinning, he kissed me. "Good. I want to be the only man in your life." He said. With that, he quickly stripped off his shirt and trousers before walking towards the bed. Grinning at me, he motioned me forward. "Come on, babe." He smirked. "My Dad said no funny business." I giggled. "This isn't funny, it’s serious!" He said giving me a seductive smirk. "I, I guess they are going to sleep." I said. He smiled and pulled me close to him, causing both of us to topple over. He hovered above me kissing my neck. I bit my lip and nodded as he looked at me for approval to take my shirt off. "I love you babe." He said. "I love you too." I said bringing his lips back to mine and kissing me harder.
