Fallen ~A Niall Horan Love Story~ [ON HOLD]

I stood over by the side of the building; leaning against the white, rusty, metal fence that was supporting me. I looked down. Whoa, I didn't realize how far up I was; even though I was only on the 6th floor. I had never been a big fan of heights. Then, I heard a loud "creak." And that was when I fell.

4. Chapter Three

Katie's P.O.V.

I started to panic. My phone was on the beach, and so were those girls. I didn't know what to do. My breath grew strong and heavy. My vision started to blur, the world panning in and out. I felt a bead of sweat fall down my face. I fell onto the ground, and unsteadily extended my hand. It was shaking profusely. Then I fell onto my back, right as my vision went black.

I sat up rubbing my eyes and looked at the clock. Thankfully I had only been out for about 15 to 20 minutes. I sighed, knowing that I had just had a panic attack. I actually get them pretty often because I have bad anxiety. I got up and brushed myself off. I realized that I was still wearing my bathing suit under my clothes.

Slowly, I trudged into the small bathroom and turned on the shower. While the water was heating up I quickly checked to see if the door was locked, windows closed, etc. Then I went back into the bathroom and stripped down. As soon as I stepped foot into the shower I felt the warm water hitting my body.

I quickly washed my hair, body, and then shaved. I quickly put the razor back into it's place before I could even think to do anything else with it. I got out of the shower and rapped myself in a towel. Then I slowly walked over to the closet to pick out some clothes. I took my time looking through each garment, trying to find something suitable to wear.

Finally I picked out a simple white tank top and some skinny jeans. Over that I threw on a light blue over sized sweater, (since it was getting colder out) and put on my white converse. Then I went into the bathroom and carefully brushed out my hair. I took the sides of my hair and clipped them back with a light blue bow with white polka dots. I just left my hair in its naturally wavy state, seeing as there was no need to do much with it.

I brushed my teeth and put on some lip balm. I looked at myself in the mirror, checking myself over. I sucked in my stomach to try to make it look smaller, but it was no use. As I exhaled the huge breath that I had just taken in, I mumbled to myself

"Well, this is as good as it's gonna get."

I finally emerged from the bathroom and looked at the time. It was 6:34PM. I told myself to quit stalling and to just go down, get my phone, ignore all of their comments, and come back upstairs to my room. I grabbed my keys and walked out the door. After I locked the door I shoved my keys into my back pocket, making sure that they wouldn't fall out, while walking over to the elevator.
