Full Moon (OneDirection/Werewolf)

We joke about unnatural creatures and tell scary stories about big foot. It's a part of being human. But it's really actually a warning. I never realized that, which caused my whole life to change.
"Do you trust me?" His lips brushed against my ear, his husky voice made my heart beat faster.
"Yes." My voice quivered.
"Are you scared of me?" He stood over me, and I refused to make eye contact with him.
"No." He took a step back from me. Before lunging into the air, and revealing his true self.

2. Chapter Two: Mr. Popular

(Ela's POV)

I straightened my long brown hair that came down to the middle of my back. I put on a dark Navy Blue Dress that came below mid-thigh. I had on white sandles, and was wearing a necklace Aunt Jesse gave me. She told me the wear it ever day, but I didn't argue because it was beautiful. It was a crescent moon that was black at night and white during the day. I examined its shimmer in the mirror as David called my name.

I ran out of the bathroom, after unplugging my hair straightener. I found him in the kitchen, Aunt Jesse was cooking waffles and pancakes. Uncle Tom was sitting on the couch watching golf on TV. "You hungry Ela?" I turned my attention away from the TV and found myself sitting next to David.

"Starving." I said. Aunt Jesse put a plate in front of me, and set two pancakes in front of me. "Oh my gosh this looks so good." I said picking up a fork and starting to eat.

"You don't eat your pancakes with syrup?" David said laughing at me.

"You eat your pancakes with syrup?" I said confused. But David just laughed, so I ignored him. I never really had eaten syrup before. By the time I was done with two of my pancakes, David was on his fourth. "You're going to explode." I said laughing as I finished my second pancake.

"I could eat another four if we didn't have school." He joked. As we started heading outside, Aunt Jesse handed me Davids old black backpack for school.

"Thanks." I said, but she didn't comment. She looked down at my neck, and noticed that I was wearing the necklace. She smiled then and waved goodbye. I waved back as I got into the passengers seat in Davids car.

When we got to the school David took me to the office, and the desk lady helped us plan some stuff out. Because David was a Senior, and I was only a Junior so we didn't have a lot of classes in common. So he was going to be following me around for the next two days.

As we walked out of the office, I got the same feeling as yesterday. All eyes on me. A man a little taller than David stepped in front of me quickly, I jumped back and David quickly stepped in between the man and I. "Back off Lucas." A growl came from Davids mouth. Lucas made the same deep growling noise too, before stepping out of Davids way. David grabbed my arm and quickly pulled me along.

I struggled against his grip, his touch burning, his grip unbearable. "Let go David!" I winced in pain, but he ignored me and continued to pull me along.

(Matt's POV)

"Yeah new girl, new toy." James said laughing while I was leaned against my locker.

I took a deep breath, and an unfamiliar catching sent rolled by. All the boys turned their heads towards the scent that I had just gotten. Her. Lucas, my younger brother stepped in front of her smirking. She looked so fragile  my fists clenched. "If they touch her...' My wolf warned. My wolf was going crazy wanting to gain control. I looked away, punching my locker light enough that I wouldn't dent it.

When I looked back, David. a guy from my pack, was gripping har arm and pulling her along. Pain filled her eyes and a growl came from my throat. "Wow Chill man." James said laughing a little.

"Don't ever give your future alpha orders." I said walking off to my first class. Right before the bell rang, David and the new girl rushed in. Her scent made the hairs on my arms stick up. I had never felt so tempted in my life.

David made eye contact with me, and used mind linking to talk to me without anybody else hearing it.

*Might want to tell your brother to not scare the humans off* David said sounding clearly pissed off.

*He's already getting talked to but James, and so will you the next time you touch her* I glared at him.

*She's my cousin*

*She's my mate* The word mate slipped out of my mouth when my body couldn't reject my wolf any longer. But he knows the rules  nobody takes the mate of an alpha.

(Ela's POV)

As I talked to the teacher from behind her desk, I noticed David making eye contact with a guy in the back of the room. He had the same skin tone as Uncle Tom, David, and the boys that were staring at me threw the window. He was clearly cute and caught my attention easily.

The teacher snapped her fingers infront of my face. I looked away from the boy, and people in the classroom started to laugh. I blushed. "Find a seat." David went and sat with one of his friends, which left one seat open.

The guy who I had been staring at. I looked down at the ground and went and sat next to him. He sat uncomfortable in his chair, and refused to look at me. So I didn't look at him either. "What's your name?" Said somebody to my left.

"Ela." I said, my voice shakey.

"My names Stephen." He held out his hand, and I shook his hand. His hand was ice cold, the total opposite from Uncle Tom. He pulled his hand away. What was with these people. I looked back towards the front of the classroom. I just wanted this class to be over with.

(Matt's POV)

She shook hands with Stephen, one of my biggest enemies. I felt his ice cold touch, brush against my hand. My knuckles were white because my hand was in such a tense fist. I noticed Ela looking at me confused. "Am I bothering you?" She asked biting her bottom lip.

"Nope." I said not making eye contact, because if I did. I'd lose myself.

"Then why did you just break your pencil?" I looked down at my hand, and noticed my pencil had been snapped into about 4 pieces.

"Bad day." I said groaning.

"Are you crazy or something? Everybodys looking at her like shes desert!" My wolf yelled at me.

"Oh, well I hope it gets better." Ela said, trying to be nice.

"Shut up." I said, meaning to talk to my wolf, but it sounded like I was talking to Ela.

"Sorry." She said, not trying to be mean at all. I felt kind of bad, but I couldn't fall for anything. The bell rang, thankfully interrupting Ela and I's horrible conversation. I rushed out of the classroom and walked to the office.

"I think its best if I go home, I don't feel the best." I said to the desk lady. She had never liked me, but she'd do anything to get rrid of me.

"You can go." She said not even looking up to see who I was. I rushed out of the school, and ran to the once place I knew nobody could bother me.

(Ela's POV)

David took me to my next class, and I couldn't help but ask him all about that guy who had broken his pencil into 50 pieces. "What's his name?"

"Matt."

"Does he hate new kids or something?"

"No."

"Well why does he act like it then?"

"I don't know."

"Are you even listening?"

"No." I frowned at him, as I punched him in the arm playfully. But it really backfired on me. I felt two knuckles pop as my jaw tightened in pain. "Why did you do that?" David looked almost angry at me, but my eyes watered and his face expression looked scared almost.

"Is your arm made of metal or something?" I said, wondering what the heck was with all these strange people. Why did people have to act so weird around me?

"You shouldn't have punched me." David took my hand and looked at it. My fingers hurt so badly. "Come on." We turned around, not going to our classes. We walked back to the office, and the desk lady had us go to nurses office. The nurse put a splinter on my pointer finger, and wrapped my middle finger with it. And all I could think about was all the strange features this town had.

- Cold skin

- Burning skin

- Same skin tone

- Arms made of iron

(David's POV)

The office lady took her down to her classroom, while I stayed to talk to Mr. Uley, the school principal. "Do you not know the risks of having a human in this school?!" He raised his voice, as he got a little to close to my face. "Your going to expose us all!"

"It's not my fault she punched me."

"It's your fault that you were standing in the way of her fist! Your 50x faster than her!" He looked so mad that his wolf could take over in any second. Before he could say anymore, I got up and walked out of the office angry. I slammed his door, and it hurt my ears. I still couldn't get over the fact that Matt thought that his mate was Ela. It made me sick to think of the things he would or could do to her.

I met up with Ela in her next class, and she didn't look to well. Her face was pale. Which meant the necklace was doing what it should be doing. My mom Jesse had given her the Cresent Moon necklace. It was a werewolf symbol to our pack. It kept other packs aware that she was a human related to that pack, and that if they touched her we'd all be able to tell.

Earlier when she shook hands with Stephen, I felt his touch. The sick vampire can never keep his hands off the new kids. And if he ever dare touch Ela one more time I'd personally rip his head off. Anyways, back to the necklace. Another thing about it, was that it was a tracker. She would only half to wear it for a week, and then if she took it off any other time the whole pack could track her.

We could track her either way though, because her human scent was so strong. But it was only people she had the blood of a wolf, but wasn't really wolf. It's confusing to explain.

"Hey." My thoughts were interupted as Ela noticed that I was sitting next to her.

"Hey, you doin' better?"

"Yeah, sorry for punching you."

"Sorry for breaking your fingers." We both smiled and laughed a little.

"Can I ask you something?" I tensed up a little, already guessing what was coming.

"Sure."

"Why does your arm feeling like iron?" I tensed up, and knew I had to answer her. But I couldn't expose myself or my pack. I didn't respond right away, and she sat up straight in her chair. What was I going to tell her?
