3. I remember the Sun

I remember the sun,

after it fell,

after all the light went out,

I still can feel the warmth on my face,

when all you had to do was walk outside to get warm,

when there was always something to do out there

I can smell the flowers fragrance,

I can see them reach for the sky,

with their velvety and silky texture under my fingers,

I still can hear the bees who would buzz about,

hop an valleys of roses and two-lips alike,

I rememder seasons,

summer,

fall,

winter,

and spring,

summer would have little mosquitos that would make you itch,

fall brung fallen leaves,

winter had sparkling snow that would blind you,

and spring would fill your heart with love,

I remember the clouds,

fluffy and high,

back then I dreamed to like them,

back then I dreamed to fly,

I remember when the sun provided light,

brighter than any other,

that big ball of fire lit the sky,

I remember sunsets,

and sunrises,

oh their beauty,

pinks and oranges,

sometimes reds and purples too,

they were the sign of romance and,

passionet love,

sole mates would watch them go,

I remember the sun,

lighting up the sky,

but that was before it fell,

down,

down,

down,

the last sunset,

all the people of the world watched,

all the animals of the world watched,

go.

down.

and it,

never,

came,

back,

up.
