This is my poem book for every poem good, or bad I write.

4. Doors open for others

I wake early to the morning sun

To stretch is such  a bore

wish I might I must get

Mabel jumps down

waiting for a door to open

I chuckle just like me in life

I take a step forward

shaken and cold

I trudge through my swamp of grog

and Mabel trots to the next door

so many doors open for her

why

not

me?
