1. Chapter One

"Draco! Get in here this instant!" Shouted a voice.
Draco Malfoy, a 16 year old wizard sighed, ran his fingers through his long, platinum blond hair. "Coming, Father!" He called, picking up his wand and putting it in the pocket of his robes.
Draco left his room, closed and locked the door and walked grudgingly to the parlour where his father had called him to.
"Ah, yes. Son, your mother and I have some good news for you!," Luscious Malfoy said, "Sit."
Draco sat and took a deep breath, knowing that their good "news" was usually something that he got or something that he was ordered to do by his parents (big Voldemort supporters to this day, even though he had only just returned 2 years ago. And they had just forced him to get the Dark Mark upon his left forearm) to Harry Potter. Which bugged him because, as much as he understood WHY, he didn't like it.
And now, he was confused about his girlfriend and how he was starting not to have feelings for her lately.
"Yes, Father?" He asked solemnly.
"We've acquired an appointment did new robes for you to help celebrate your initiation into the Death Eaters. You and your mother go to Diagon Alley tomorrow."
"Yes, of course, Father. Might I also get a new snake? Slither has been dead since last year, I believe that it is time for a new pet."
"Draco, of course you may get a new snake! And money is NO object for your father. Isn't that right dear?" His mother said.
"Oh, no, uhhhh... Not a problem at all!"
Draco smiled and said, "Thank you."
His mother looked at him and smiled. Tomorrow she would tell him her secret that his father didn't even know. Only her sister and one other knew.
"You can leave us now." His father said absently.
Draco got up and left, feeling once again, dejected. He knew his mother loved him. But his father was a different story. All he ever felt he got from him was a look of tolerance and responsibility.
Walking back to his room, he began to think about school starting in 2 days. And that got him thinking of Harry. He felt an emotion that was not uncommon to him: disgust, as he thought of the perfect little poster boy, Harry Potter. Of course HE was the teachers' pets! He was LOVED by everyone and given a break on EVERYTHING! But, last year, Umbridge treated Harry as he should be. Him and his little blood traitor and mudblood friends. They got what they deserved!
He smiled smugly as he remembered holding Ginny Weasley by the hair, close to him with his wand jabbed into her side. He revealed in it for a bit and then let the memory fade.
Back in his room, he sat down on his bed and thought of all the fun he had at school, playing Quidditch, snogging Pansy, his girlfriend if 2 years, wand also of watching Potter fail miserably at Potions.
Ahhhh... The good times! Laying down, he quickly fell asleep, thinking of his favourite memories and snoring. Looking like a small child as he slept on.

The next day, he and his mother went to get his new robes and she told him that she had forced Snape to give the Unbreakable Vow to help her son with his mission even if he had to kill Dumbledore himself. Draco was overwhelmed by his mother's love for him.
