Finding My Soul Mate. A 1DFanfic.

13 year old Lucy hates her life. Her older sister, Amy doesn't have a care in the world about her and her dad is a work-aholic. Without a mum in her life she has nothing better to do than run away from home, making a soul mate along her travels, Niall Horan from One Direction.

8. The nightmare made me confess.

Hello. I have a week off school (YEY!!!) so I'll be able to update more! :) I said that I had an idea for Carmela and I do but I've changed it from my last idea! I've also figured out how I'm adding Tatiana, although I'm not quite sure for Marissa yet... I will add you, don't worry ;)    Sorry this chapter is really short. ~Lucy xx

I woke with my arm around Lucy's body. "Morning" She said while moving from my grasp. "Morning" I replied. She giggled at my morning voice and stood from the bed. I sat up when she closed the bathroom door. Luckily, she didn't dream any more after I layed down with her. Which was good!

Once Lucy went to bed last night, I stayed up to finish watching the rest off 'Street Dance'. After it went off, I made my way upstairs, careful not to fall over anything.

Lucy was tossing around and kicking the covers all over the place. I didn't know what she was doing, weather she was awake or not. "Lucy?" I spoke softly, walking closer to the bed. She layed still with her eyes tightly shut, I think she was dreaming. Studying her face expressions, I sat down on the bed and stroked her cheek with my thumb. "Lucy?" I spoke again. No answer. She moved around more and more every second, making me rapidly move my hand from her face, kicking her legs and tossing her head left to right. I didn't want to wake her for if I scared her, so I watched with care from the side of the bed. While I watched her, a faint tear fell down her cheek and I started to worry. With a few more kicks of her legs, she made the most high pitched squeel and sprung from her slumber. She looked around the room and saw the worried expression on my face. "Niall. Oh, thank god!" I was crushed into a tight hug, it hurt a little but I wasn't bothered. Something had upset Lucy and I'm trying my best to calm her down. I peeled her from my chest and looked her in the eyes. "What happened?" I asked, really concered. She shook her head and looked down. "Just a bad dream, that's all." She looked up and smiled at me. I knew it wasn't just that but I didn't want to push her into telling me. I nodded and smiled. "Come on. Try to get some sleep" I scuttered closer and layed down with Lucy next to me. She turned her back to me and sniffled before saying "Goodnight, Niall" I frowned and brought my hand around. I grabbed Lucy's arm and slowly spun her around so she was facing me. She looked at me with cute eyes as I pulled her flimsy body closer to me. She didn't rebel and layed her head on my chest while putting one arm over my belly. I felt her smile on my shirt and we fell asleep in that position.

I put my right arm above my head and sat to wait while Lucy had done in the bathroom. I really care about her as a friend, like I care for the guys, yet I've only known her for one week.

She came out with her hair flowing over her shoulders, a long, rugby style top, covering her legs to just above her knees and some black leggings. We shared a smile as I got up to go to the bathroom. I cleaned my teeth and washed up before going back into the room. Lucy wasn't there so I got some clothes out and got changed.

I forced my body down stairs to find Lucy on her phone in the living room. Once I got into the room, the first thing I saw was her green cast, just five more days and it would be coming off. I sat down on the chair next to the sofa Lucy was sat on and noticed her faintly crying. Not noticing my presence in the room she started to hum to, I think it was 'Take a bow' by Rihanna. She looked up and saw me looking at her. I think I scared her because she jumped a little. "You scared me!" She giggled a little. "Why are you crying?" I got straight to the point but asked in a concered voice. She said nothing but passed me her phone. On the screen was a picture of a very pretty woman who looked a lot like Lucy. "That's my mum" she smiled and the tears were no longer there. Everytime Lucy would mention her mum, she would smile and sometimes start to laugh. I knew that her mum was no longer with her. "She's very pretty! I see where you get it from" I told her. "My mum taught me everything I know" Lucy explained. "Everything apart from dancing, Eloise taught me how to dance" Her voice was soft and quiet but I heard every word. I could only smile at how happy Lucy was right now. "When she died, my mum. I was only four. To be honest, I'm lucky to be alive" Knowing she was going to tell me how everything happen, I moved to sit next to her and handed her phone back. If I was honest, I wanted to know, in a way.
