Finding My Soul Mate. A 1DFanfic.

13 year old Lucy hates her life. Her older sister, Amy doesn't have a care in the world about her and her dad is a work-aholic. Without a mum in her life she has nothing better to do than run away from home, making a soul mate along her travels, Niall Horan from One Direction.

35. Is there something you want to tell me?

Three days later and I still haven't moved from my bed in the hotel room. Finding out Niall had a girlfriend was petty hard for me. Not seeing anyone was my way of recovering I guess. Plus no one wants to be with me when I'm like this. I told Eloise that I was sick and that I didn't want her being sick as well so I haven't seen her since the 'party'. I hate having to lie to her but I like to keep somethings to myself. Sure she may be my best friend and all but I'd hate to bring her down with me just because of some stupid crush. "You not coming out of bed today then?" Amy asked, sitting on my bed. "No. How many days till we go back to Ohio?" I turned to face her. "Another three days but the flight doesn't leave until late at night on Friday" I groaned and moved so my back was facing her again. I muttered a thanks into the pillow and closed my eyes. Sleep is the only place where I feel happy and free.

God, I'm so depressed!

"You have to get out of bed sometime, Lucy and you have to eat too considering you haven't had anything in two whole days!" Can't she see that I'm trying to sleep? "But I'm not hungry. Can you just leave me alone?" I hopped she would but then again this is Amy we're talking about and she never lets anything go until she gets her way. "No, no I can't now will you get up so I can take you out. I'll take you to the Hard Rock Cafe! I know you wont say no to that!" I smiled knowing that I actually couldn't say no to that. "Fine, I'll get up but I'm not much fun to be around" I warned, unwrapping my warm body from the heaven I call my bed. "That's nothing new for me. I can put up with it." She laughed and walked out of my room. If you haven't already guessed, the room we're staying in is huge! It's the biggest hotel I've ever seen.

I jumped into the shower and grabbed my razor from the shelf. I lathered some soap onto my hands and wiped it on my left leg. I then slid the cover off the razor blade and began shaving my legs. After that, I put a blob of apple shampoo on my hand and mixed it into my hair. Once I'd rinsed the shampoo out of my hair, I stepped out of the shower and wrapped a fuzzy hotel towel around my shaking body.

I blow dried my hair and tied it into a high ponytail. Deciding against make-up, I walked out of the bathroom and pulled on my underwear. Amy then walked into my room. "You nearly ready kiddo?" She sat on my bed with her phone in her hands. "Yeah, just got to put my clothes on" She didn't reply and started to tap away on her phone. I pulled on my black skinny jeans and the jumper Liam gave me. I checked myself over in the mirror and attempted a smile. "OK, I'm ready."

We walked to the cafe and made it there within 20 minutes. Amy went to get our order and I went to sit down on a table near the back. She came back five minutes later and sat down across from me. "There you go kid" I smiled and began to eat.

"You aren't talking about how good that sandwich tastes. You always do that! What's wrong?" Yes, that's weird and yes, I do that every time I come here. What can I say? The food is really good. "I'm just not feeling good, I told you that three days ago" I rolled my eyes. "Yeah but that never stopped you when you were younger!" She shot back. "It didn't?" I asked, curiously. "No. We would always come here, me you and dad, when you weren't feeling good because we know it cheers you up and you'd take a bite from the sandwich and start blabbering at how amazing it is. Why aren't you doing that now?" Wow, I never knew that. "I never knew that" I laughed. "I guess I'm just too sick?" I continued in a questioned tone, even though I was asking a question. "Now we both know that isn't true" She stated. "What do you want me to do? Have an orgasm over my food?" I snapped. "No! There was no need for that, Lucy!" Amy got angry with me. "I know, I'm sorry." I looked down at my hands which were currently place around my delicious looking, ham and cheese soft bake. "Is there something you want to tell me?" Amy blurted out. I sighed. "I have a huge crush on someone who will never even consider looking at me and I found out he has a girlfriend" A single tear rolled down my cheek. "But it doesn't even matter because he'll never have the same feeling I have towards him, he will never look at me the way I always looked at him and I'll never be able to call myself his girl" I cried. "Looked? So you don't look at him that way anymore? Why?"  "Because I can't look at him anymore because I don't see him. The last time I saw him was three days ago. Plus, what's the point when he has a girlfriend?" I asked rhetorically. "If your feelings are strong towards him, you wont give up! Never give up on anything if you think its worth fighting for and if you can't see him, the least you can do is talk to him. I'm assuming you have his number if you saw him often so call him, text him, do all that you can if you think, even if it's only a little chance, that he might like you back. If not now, someday he might." I can always count on Amy to give me the best advice possible. "What if I fight for what I want and in the end, he doesn't like me and never will? I could waste time on someone I like and he might not even be the one for me. My prince could be right in front of my eyes and I wouldn't know because I'm wasting my time on Niall." His name slipped out of my mouth in the rush to finish my sentence. "This guy we're talking about is Niall? Niall Horan? The Niall Horan from One Direction?" This can not be happening. "I can't believe I just did that." I sighed and looked away. "So it is? Oh my god! Lucy! You should most definitely go for him! He's famous and has a lot of-" I cut her off before she got chance to finish. I knew exactly what she was going to say. "No, Amy! I know what you're going to say and I would never go for anyone because of the fame and money. I didn't fall for that Niall. I fell for the creative, funny, cute, caring, talented Niall Horan. The real him! Not the person everyone else makes him out to be!" I crossed my arms over my chest and slumped in my seat. "Oh, well you should still go for him if you think he is the one. I know you're young but if your feelings are strong then I think you should at least tell him how you feel." I smiled and finished my sandwich, washing it down with a glass of orange juice. "Thanks Amy" She nodded and we left The Hard Rock Cafe.

Once we got back to the hotel, I grabbed my phone and open a new text message.
