25. The Funeral

Chapter 25
I woke up not ready to face today. Today was the funeral which meant tears, cries, pain, seeing my dead grandmaw and my motionless, hurt family. I lazily got out of bed and walked to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and took a hot shower. Getting out, I wrapped a towel around my wet body when I heard my family talking to someone. When the familiar voice replied, I knew who it was. Without thinking I ran down the corridor and burst through the door to the living room. I was right! The familiar voice was Harry! My family just stood there with their mouths open while Harry smirked. Then I realised I was still wet and wrapped in only a towel.
"Um...I'm...gonna go put some clothes on..." I smiled running back to my room. I quickly put on a pair of shorts and a loose jumper. I was about to walk out when Harry walked in.
"Harry!" I shouted jumping in his arms.
"Hey Babe!" He smiled into my ear.
"Wh...Wha...What are you doing here!" I squealed with excitement.
"I asked Paul if we could postpone our flight till Friday. It took some convincing but he agreed. I really missed you and wanted to be here for you." He explained. Awe....
"Thanks Haz.....I'm really glad you came." I awed and kissed his cheek. He slightly blushed, but pulled my face to his so I wouldn't notice. We were slowly moving to the bed when I realised we were still in the same house as my parents and family. Ew. I pulled away and sighed.
"What is it?" He asked.
" family is kinda in the next room." I stated.
"So....we can be quiet." He smirked continuing to kiss my neck.
"As much as I miss you... We...We can't..." I breathed out, but his lips made their way back to mine forcing me to shut up and his hands slid down my back.
"Haz...look at me." I said and he pulled away. He just sat there staring at me with his gorgeous green eyes. I felt like I was gonna melt.
"No...Don't look at me..." I blushed covering my face with my hands.
"What? Why?" He chuckled and tried to uncover my eyes, but I buried my face in his chest.
"Because. Your eyes are too seductive." I mumbled into his chest. He laughed and lifted my face so I was once again melting from his eyes.
"Stop." I giggled, but he continued to stare and smirk.
"Addison... You need to get dressed now." My mom called from outside my door. I sighed and stood up, but Harry pulled me back onto his lap. I giggled, because I felt something move under me. I laughed and he turned blood red. Awe... He really really missed me!
"I need to get dressed." I frowned.
"Okay...." He said absentmindedly.
"So....go." I said pointing to the door.
"You act like I haven't seen you na-" He smirked, but I cut him off.
"My parents don't know that..." I stated.
"That's how they met me... In a towel, half naked at your house!" He stated.
I changed into a floral dress and slipped on my red toms. Cute, but dressy. I applied my usual foundation and mascara and was about to do my hair when Harry stopped me.
"No. I wanna do it..." He smiled taking the straightener.
Ummm okay?
"Why?" I asked.
"Because I can." He said with sass.
"Okay. But you have to stop spending so much time with Lou, his sass is rubbing off on you." I joked.
He actually did a pretty good job on my hair.
"Harry....What's this?" I asked, holding up a piece of braided hair.
"A braid." He stated.
I'm a little scared...
"Um....Where did you learn to braid?!" I asked.
"Lou braided a piece of my hair as a joke." He said innocently.
"Louis can braid?!" I asked in shock.
"Lou Teasdale.....My stylist." He smiled.
"Oh....." I sighed.
"If someone else saw that. They would swear you were gay." I joked.
"I'm not gay!" He protested. "Why would you say that?!"
"You can braid. The lil bit of sass. The bromance with Lou." I joked.
"That doesn't make me gay." He said in defense. I was just messing with him. I know for a fact that Harry Styles is not gay. But just for fun...
"Prove it." I smirked.
He leaned down and slammed his lips on mine.
Once again breathless, I pulled away and he smirked.
"Okay. Your definitely not gay." I smiled.
When we got to the funeral home, I braced myself for what's to come. All the way at the end of the aisle, I saw my grandmaw. I grabbed Harry's hand and he gave me a sympathetic look. I slowly walked down to her casket and felt tears well up. Shoving my feelings down further I tried to resist the urge to cry. It was hard with everyone around me sobbing. I sat through the service trying to focus on the good memories I had with my grandmaw. Once the service was over I took one last look at my grandmaw as a tear fell. I mouthed 'I love you' just before walking away. Still trying to stay strong, I walked off to the side as they lowered her casket.
I couldn't take it. I broke down in tears.
"Shhh.... It's okay..." Harry soothed as I sobbed into his chest. I stopped crying and we walked back to the car. My grandmaw may not be here physically, but I have peace at mind knowing she's in a better place.
