Tanya is a 13 year old girl, who lives with her mum, dad and annoying older brother Lucas. He never leaves her alone, and he is always pestering her! She finds out that she actually has a long-lost identical twin sister, but they got separated at birth. Tanya can't wait to meet her sister, and she is so excited, but there is something not right about this. Little does Tanya know that a dark secret is being held back, but was it really her family holding it back or Tanya herself?

8. Sparks

She fell to the floor, her hands slipping underneath her. She panicked some more, then relaxed. She didn't know anyone was there. A boy about her age was standing in front of her, holding out his hand to help her up. Tanya accepted the offer, and passed him her hand. He pulled her up and she brushed herself down. "I'm sorry if I scared you." apologised the boy. "It's fine. Don't worry. I only screamed because I didn't know anyone was behind me. I thought I was alone." replied Tanya. "I'm Jack by the way." said the boy, flashing a white smile. "I'm Tanya." Tanya said, blushing. Jack smiled again and looked towards the floor. Tanya thought he was so cute; little did she know that Jack thought the same of her! Jack looked up again and sat down on the dry grass. He patted the space next to him, and Tanya sat down too. He put his hand on the grass as Tanya put her hand next to her. Their hands touched and they both grinned at each other, giggling a little. Tanya put her hand on her lap and looked towards the clearing nearby. "Uuhh, Jack." said Tanya, looking straight into his gorgeous brown eyes. "Yes?" he asked, looking straight into her blue eyes. "Is it ok if we go a bit further into the woods?" Tanya asked. "Yeah, sure." Jack replied, smiling at her. He got up first, then held out his hand for Tanya again. She blushed and reached out her hand. He pulled her up again, and they started walking further into the woods. Their arms were just about touching because they were walking so close together. There was a gap at the side of the woods, leading through a metal fence. They both ducked down, and walked through it. There was a bank full of grass, and a small hiding gap down one side, nearest the fence. It was big enough to sit about four people in but there was two of them and certainly enough space. Jack walked behind her, making sure she was OK getting into the gap. Tanya said thanks and carried on walking in. She sat down first then Jack sat down next to her. Jack smiled at her and started asking her about her life. Tanya felt like she couldn't hold in what she was doing anymore. She spilled everything out, about her sister and her parents not letting her see her, how she'd run away from home to find her sibling and how she'd seen her parents and her school teacher and run into the woods. She even told why she'd wanted to come further into the woods. She just couldn't help but cry. Jack put his arm round her and told her it's OK. She kept crying, wondering if she'd ever be able to stop. She looked up and told Jack how good he's been to her even though they've just met. They started into each other's eyes and Jack leaned forward. Tanya followed his lead. Their lips touched, sparks flying. It was the most magical moment of her life...
