Mr. Tomlinson

Darkness quickly falls, along with the temperature. I shiver moving closer to the fire. Louis moves closer to me, taking off a sweatshirt he had brought, and putting it on me. I turn to thank him, not realizing that I had subconsciously moved closer to him as well. Our faces, inches apart study each other. Louis leans even closer, and I move the rest of the way.

Our lips meet, the kiss passionate and rough. Thanks to the darkness, no one can see us. I reach one hand up to wrap around his neck. He cups my face in both of his hands, bringing me even closer to him. I suck on his bottom lip, and hear him quietly moan. I smile into the kiss. I'm about to reach my other hand up when Mia begins talking.

10. Dinner

"So! Where do y'all want to eat?" My mom asks, happily.

"Uh... Applebees?" I suggest.

My mom nods her head, driving. It's quiet for a few minutes. Whenever our family is together it's almost always silence. It's been like that ever since Dad left us. My mom refuses to let my brother, James and I see him. Honestly, it's not fair. I love my dad, a lot. It wasn't even his fault they got divorced. I secretly hate my mom. I'm too much of a wimp to fight with her though.

I'm brought out of my thoughts when I hear a door slam. I look up to see both my mom and James walking towards the front doors of the restaurant. I quickly undo my seat belt and hop out of the car.

"Thanks for just leaving me in there!" I say sarcastically.

They both just shrug. I roll my eyes, chuckling. I pull out my phone to text Louis.

Hey. It's Chrissy :P -C

A few minutes later, I receive a reply.

Well hey there! -L

I look up from my phone to order my food, once done I look back down to answer him.

I'm so bored! -C

"Christina, who are you texting at our dinner?" Asks my mom.

"It's Chrissy, and no one!" I answer, annoyed.

What are you doing? -L

At Applebees. What are you up to? -C

....Also at Applebees -L

My head shoots up, my eyes dart around trying to find Louis. My gaze finally settles on Louis who awkwardly stands up quickly to look around. He looks like an idiot. Our eyes meet and I smile at him.

You looked like an idiot, just to let you know ;) -C

I look up to see him switch seats with one of the people he's with, I think it's the Harry guy from the other night. Where Louis sits, we can see each other perfectly. Louis looks down, at his phone most likely. He reads my text, looks up and glares at me. I stick my tongue out at him.

"Christina! Who are you looking at?" My mom asks annoyed.

"It's Chrissy!" I say exasperated. "No one, ok?"

My mom huffs and sits back against her seat. I roll my eyes and slouch down, looking back at Louis. He gives me a questioning look, then types in his phone.

My phone buzzes.

What was all that about? You looked like you were really pissed off! -L

Nothing. Just my mom being annoying, that's all. -C

I look up to see Louis frowning at me. I just shrug, then look away because my food has finally come out.

"Chrissy! Why are you eating leaves?!" Yells James.

I blush and look down. He's young, and has never eaten salad before. I glance up to see a lot of people looking at our table. Louis, is beside himself laughing. I roll my eyes at him. It wasn't that funny.

"It's a salad bud! You can eat this! Do you want a bite?" I say, getting some on my fork and eating it.

James makes a face, "I'll stick with my grilled cheese, thank you very much!"

I chuckle, he's going to be so sassy when he gets older. It'll be great! Not.

"Christina, close your mouth when you're eating!" My mom orders.

"I'm not even eating something right now." I say, confused.

I honestly have no idea why she's suddenly acting so weird. She was perfectly fine at the beginning of dinner! Now she's being all mean.

A shadow falls over my table. I turn my head and see a middle aged man standing there.

"Hello Kate!" He says to my mom.

I look over to see my mom blushing. Oh hell no!

"Max! Hi!" She says, giggling.

Wait... giggling?!

"Who the hell are you?" I ask bluntly.

The man does a double take when he hears me say that. My mom gives me a sharp look.

"Chrissy!" She hisses, kicking me under the table.

Oh, so now she'll call me Chrissy.

"I'm a good friend of your Mother's!" He replies, placing his hand on my shoulder, smiling.

I shrug his hand off my shoulder, "I don't like being touched."

He slowly takes his hand off my shoulder, and I look away from him. I can practically feel the daggers my mom is sending me. I look over to Louis, who is watching me with a confused look. I give him a 'kill me now' look.

Before I know it, the man is sitting at my table, next to my mom. I clench my jaw. This guy better back off my mom. Sure, I may secretly hate her, but I still want my parents to get back together. I sit there, glaring at the guy. Ignoring my buzzing phone.

"So... Christina, why don't you tell me about yourself!" He says uncomfortable under my glare.

"It's Chrissy." I answer.

I risk a look at my mom, who looks like she could murder me. I smirk at her.

Could you drive me home?....Like now?  -C

"D-do you play any sports or... anything?" The guy stutters.

I look up to see Louis standing up and nodding at me. He walks towards my table.

"No. I would actually appreciate it if you stopped trying to be so nice. I obviously don't like you, so leave me AND MY FAMILY ALONE!" I say, ending the sentence yelling.

I ignore the stares of the people in the restaurant, and my mother yelling for me to come back. I stand up and follow Louis out the door.

"What was that all about?!" Louis asks, amazed.

"I just didn't like that guy." I reply.

"Everyone says you were the quiet one! Oh how wrong they all were!" He continues.

I giggle and open my mouth to reply, when I hear the doors being opened.

"Chrissy!" yells James.

I run over and pick him up, "James, go back to mom, okay?"

"I don't want to! I don't like that guy! I want Daddy!" He pouts.

I sigh, looking at Louis.

"Can he come with us?"

He smiles, "Of course! I love kids! Hi little man! I'm Louis!"

James nestles his head in my neck, then lifts it back up.

"I'm James! I'm the coolest kid around!" He announces, proudly.

I laugh, "Really? I thought Louis was the coolest kid around!"

James looks at him seriously, "Well, this is a problem!"

Louis chuckles, "It's cool little man! You can be the coolest kid around!"

They then hold out their hands to fist bump. I roll my eyes. James leans over to Louis and holds out his arms. I hand him over to Louis, who slings him on his back.

"I wanted to have an open hand." He explains.

"Why?" I ask.

He reaches over to grab my hand, "So I could do that!"

"Lou! People could see!" I whisper.

"It's dark out! Don't worry, no one will be able to tell!"

I sigh, but continue holding hands with him.

"Now! Do you really want to go home, or do you want to go somewhere else?" He asks.

Louis and I look at each other, "The park it is!"
