Mr. Tomlinson

Darkness quickly falls, along with the temperature. I shiver moving closer to the fire. Louis moves closer to me, taking off a sweatshirt he had brought, and putting it on me. I turn to thank him, not realizing that I had subconsciously moved closer to him as well. Our faces, inches apart study each other. Louis leans even closer, and I move the rest of the way.

Our lips meet, the kiss passionate and rough. Thanks to the darkness, no one can see us. I reach one hand up to wrap around his neck. He cups my face in both of his hands, bringing me even closer to him. I suck on his bottom lip, and hear him quietly moan. I smile into the kiss. I'm about to reach my other hand up when Mia begins talking.

3. Awkward Class

I wake up the next day, dreading drama class. I HATE Mr. Tomlinson. He may be cute, but he's a total douchebag. I take my shower and put my hair in a fishtail braid, doing my makeup in a natural looking way. I throw on some shorts and a purple shirt. I run downstairs to go eat some breakfast. My mom looks up when I walk in the room.

"Would you wake up your brother for me? He responds better to you than me." She asks when I sit down.

I sigh, "Yeah sure."

My mom nods, and we fall back into our normal silent routine. I eat for a few minutes, and am about to get up when my mom begins a conversation with me.

"How was your first day of school?"

I sit back down, "It was ok"

"How was drama? I know you weren't excited to take it."

I falter begin answering, surprised that she remembered that I was taking it.

"I hated it actually. I'm going to the guidance office today because I want to switch out of it." I admit.

"It was that bad?!" My mom says surprised.

"I don't really get along with the teacher. He's a jerk." I say, annoyed by even the thought of him.

My mom nods, and I get up to go wake up my brother. I walk towards his room, wondering why she thinks he responds better to me than her. I slam his door open, realizing that I'll be late to school if he doesn't get up.

"GET UP!" I scream, pretending that there is an emergency.

He jumps up, "WHAT?! WHAT HAPPENED?!"

I smile, "Time to get up for school!"

I walk out of his room and grab my purse, I turn and see my mom chuckling from how I woke up my brother. That's the first time I've seen her laugh in a while. I shout goodbye to them and run out of the house, towards the school. Every step I take makes me more and more upset knowing that I'll heave to be in his class. I don't even know if they will let me switch out or not.

I get to the school and walk over to my locker as fast as I can so I will have more time to go to the guidance office. I slow down when I see someone leaning against my locker. It's Mr. Tomlinson. I sigh, trying to decide if I should just turn around or go to my locker. I awkwardly stand in the middle of the hallway for 30 seconds, when he see's me.

"Chrissy!" He exclaims, causing a lot of people to look in my direction.

He pushes his body off of my locker and begins to walk towards me. I take a step back, not wanting to deal with him.

"Chrissy, wait!" He says as he sees me walking away.

I turn entirely and walk away as fast as I can. I can hear him shouting behind me to stop, but I ignore him. I get to the office and ask to see Mrs. Midget, my counselor.

"I'm sorry miss, you'll need to schedule an appointment to see her." Says the lady at the desk.

"Does she have an appointment right now?" I ask.

"No." Says the woman reluctantly.

"Then let me see her!" I exclaim.

We argue for 5 more minutes and the bell rings. I look up and sigh, knowing that the receptionist won't let me see her unless I have an appointment. I grab a paper to schedule one and grab a late pass for my homeroom teacher. I give it to my teacher just in time, the bell rings for 1st period. I sigh and run to that class because it's entirely across the school. I get in and sit with some of my friends.

"I still can't believe what Mr. Tomlinson did to you." They say.

I just shrug my shoulders and wait for class to begin.

The classes seem to go fast because all of a sudden, it's drama. My friends crowd around me for support I guess and we walk in. Mr. Tomlinson is sitting at his desk and looks up when we walk in. We make eye contact. I quickly look down, feeling awkward. I feel his gaze on me as I walk to my desk and sit. This is going to be one awkward class for sure.

I turn and talk with my friends, continuing to ignore his unfailing gaze. Everyone else in the class files in. A minute later and the bell rings, Mr. Tomlinson stands up.

"Ok class, since we didn't finish our introductions yesterday, we will be continuing them today." As he speaks the class turns to look at me, referring to what happened yesterday.

I blush, frowning. Mr. Tomlinson clears his throat, claiming the attention of everyone. The first person goes up and introduces herself.

"Hi! I'm Dava, I love theater and acting and going to the movies!" she proclaims loudly, smirking at me.

I have always hated this girl's guts. She's so mean, but I'm way too scared of her to say anything. She sits back down, and other people go up and introduce themselves. I'm too distracted to listen because Mr. Tomlinson's gaze hasn't left me this entire period. Occasionally, I'll make eye contact with him and end up looking away a few seconds later.

The bell rings and I stand up, eager to escape his lingering gaze.

"Chrissy, please stay after class. I need to talk to you." He calls out to me.

I stop, halfway out the door. My friends all look at me wondering if they should wait for me but I gesture for them to go on ahead to lunch. Everyone walks out of the class and I turn around, readying myself to face the man who embarrassed me in front of the entire class.
