Loving You

Austin's POV

I was in the tour bus listening to Sarah ramble on and on about how hot she looked in her outfit. I had a couple hours until my next concert, so I decided to go get some hot chocolate. I put my disguise and headed out to the closet Starbucks. Once I walked in, it felt like time froze. A girl was at the counter. Not just any girl. She was gorgeous. And she looked familiar.

"Hello, what can I get for you today?" She asked. Her voice was familiar, too. But, how?

"Um, can I get a hot chocolate?" I smiled.

"That will be a total of $5.76." She turned around to make my drink and then it hit me. She was my childhood best friend and my crush. My family and I moved right before the seventh grade and we never kept in touch. She returned with my drink and gave me a friendly smile.

"Sky." I breathed. I can't believe I found her after all these years. I never forgot her, but I'm pretty sure she didn't remember me.

"How do you know my name?" She asked suspiciously.

"We went to elementary school together back in Texas." I explained. Her eyes widened as she stared at me for a few seconds.

"Austin?????" She shrieked. I laughed at her enthusiasm and nodded. She lifted herself and slid over the counter to tackle my in a hug. We landed on the floor and luckily, there weren't any tables in the way.

"I missed you!!!!!" She cried.

"I missed you, too, Shortstop." I chuckled, sitting up.

"I told you to stop calling me that." She pouted.

"But you're still shorter than me." I frowned.

"I know." She grinned.

"When does your shift end?" I asked. She looked at the clock on the wall and I could practically hear her counting all the minutes til she was done.

"Uh, I have ten minutes left. You can stick around if you want." She sighed. I nodded and found a booth to sit in. Like she said, ten minutes later, we walked out laughing like idiots.
