5. Chapter 4

Kasey's P.O.V

He smirks at me before speaking, "Hop in, I'll take you home."

I was to lazy to get a taxi and to say no so I obeyed and opened the passenger door and sat inside the car, closing right after.

"So what are you doing at Smith's place?" He asks, curiosity evident in his voice. I shrug.

"Party. Weren't you there?" I say, looking out the window. He nods.

"Yeah. I didn't see you, now did I?" I listen to his words first before bursting out.

"Whats up with you? Your seriously Bipolar. Yesterday you hurt me and today your acting like it doesn't matter." I raise and eyebrow and all colour drains from his face.

"Listen, about yesterday..." I cut him short.

"Whats there to talk about?" I chuckle sarcastically.

"I don't need to talk to you." I sneer, rolling my eyes. "You hurt me, remember?" Justin sighs, his hands tightening around the wheel.

"Look, I didn't mean to hurt you. I swear. I was lost in the moment. Haven't you ever been like that?" He looks at me for a split second before his eyes focused on the road again.

His words repeat in my head. Look, I didn't mean to hurt you. I was lost in the moment. Haven't you ever been like that?

I remember why his words seem so familiar....

I sway side to side, the music pumping loudly throughout my eardrums.

The next thing I feel surprises me.

Jaden puts his lips on mine.

I don't understand how it felt so good to be kissing my best friends crush.

And I was kissing my best friend.

Such a crazy thing.

But I didn't care.

I was lost in the moment.

"Yeah. Yeah I have." I whisper, looking down at my hands that sat on my lap.

Justin smiles a bit.

"So you know what I mean when I say I'm sorry?"

I giggle under my breath and he chuckles.

"Yeah. I guess." He eyes me over.

"Don't be like that, say you forgive me." He tries to convince me.

"Whatever." I mutter, He glares playfully.

"Fine! I forgive you!" I surrender, laughing. He smirks.

"For now." I mumble. Luckily, he doesn't hear. Good.

The car stops and I realize that I'm at home.

"Uh, thanks for the ride." I say awkwardly. He sends me a genuine smile.

"Your welcome. See you at school tomorrow." He says cheerfully. Wow. That's a first.

"Bye Justin." I say, stepping out of the care.

"Bye, Shawty." He smirks, driving away. I laugh under my breath.

I like that sound of that.
