Give me love

"Give a little time to me, or burn this out. We'll play hide and seek, to turn this around. All I want, is the taste that your lips allow,"

Sometimes love can be found in the most unexpected places. Sometimes, you fall for the wrong people. Keigan Summers is a wallflower, who minds her own business along with her best, and only, friend, Harry Styles. Lyrics are her life, music is her escape.

Makenna Ross is your typical popular girl - dating the quarterback of the football team, Liam Payne, best friends with the rest of the team. She's got everything she ever wanted, except for one person.

What happens when the two worlds collide? It's always been said that love is blind - it sees no age or appearance. Can love pull through, this time, though?

Give Me Love

Chapter Three:

*Keigans POV*

I don't know how it happened. One minute, I was playing the piano, by myself. The next, Liam Payne was beside me, singing.

I'm not sure what came over me. I normally don't sing in public.

Halfway through the song, someone bursts into the room. And it's none other than Makenna Ross.

"Liam!" she shouts. "I've been looking all over for you!"

She bends down, kissing Liam full on the lips. I look away, tears stinging at my eyes. I meet Harry's gaze, and he gives me a sympathetic smile.

"Makenna," Ms Chabosky says. "Please leave the classroom."

The blonde girl rolls her eyes. She winks at Liam, before sauntering out of the room.

Liam turns to me.

"Uh, sorry about that." he apoligizes.

"It's fine," I say, quietly.

"By the way, I never caught your name," he says. I blush.

"Uh, Keigan," I say, pushing a strand of hair behind my ear.

"I'm Liam," he introduces himself. "You're the girl I ran into in the hallway, right?"

"Uh, yeah," I say, laughing nervously. He smiles.

"Alright, everyone, back to your seats," Ms. Chabosky instructs ud. Liam slips off the piano bench, walking to his seat.

Once we're all settled, our teacher proceeds to tell us our newest project.

"In partners, you will be creating a song, to be performed in front of the class. I've already picked your partners, so don't bother looking for one."

She looks over a list, and begins reading out the partners.

When I'm not partnered with Harry, I groan, upset. I soon stop, though, when I hear who I am partnered with.

"Keigan and Liam,"

My mouth drops open. Holy crap.

Liam catches my gaze, and smiles. I return the gesture, trying to make sure my heart doesn't melt.

The bell rings, and I pack up my things. I'm on my way out the door with Harry, when someone stops me by grabbing my arm. I turn around to see Liam. And those stupid butterflies come back.

"Yeah?" I say.

"Should we work on the song tonight?" he asks.

"Uh, sure," I say. "Uhm, who's house?"

"Mine? It'll just be us, though. My parents are out of town. Is that okay?"

"Uh, yeah, it's perfect." I smile.

"Alright, we can walk to my house," he says. "Meet me outside when you're ready."

He walks past us. I wait until he is out of earshot, before turning to Harry. He sighs.

"Go ahead, let it out." he says.

"Did you hear that?! I'm hanging out with Liam Payne, later! We're writing a song together, Harry!" I say, grabbing his arm. He chuckles.

"Well, I wish you luck," he winks.

I give him a quick hug, before running to my locker to grab my back pack.

I meet Liam outside, like he said. When he sees me, he smiles.

"Ready?" he asks. I nod. We walk off the grounds of the school, and I can't help but feel the butterflies begin to flutter again.

"So, how come I've never seen you before?" he asks me as we walk.

"Uhm, I usually keep to myself," I say, looking down.

"Why?"

I shrug. "People have never noticed me. I guess I just slipped into the sidelines."

"Well, now I'm noticing you," he smiles, and I beam at him.

We reach his house in no time. We walk into the small building, kicking our shoes off, leaving our bags at the door.

"Want something to eat?" he asks me, walking to his kitchen.

"I'm okay," I say, quietly.

"Really?" he asks. I nod. "Alright, suit yourself."

I wish I wasn't so shy around people.

"Let's go up to my bedroom," he suggests. I follow him up the stairs, into a typical teenage boy's room.

Laundry is thrown about, his bed is unmade, and posters cover the walls. There is also a piano in the corner of the room, and a few guitars.

"Uh, make yourself comfortable," he says, kicking a pair of shorts off the floor. I smile, sitting down on the carpet, crossing my legs. He sits down across from me.

"So, what kind of song are we writing?" he asks. I shrug.

"I'm pretty good at writing love songs," I say. He smiles.

"Okay!" he says. "Let's do that, then."

"Can you play?" I ask, gesturing to one of his guitars. He nods.

"And you play piano, right?" he confirms. I nod. He grins. "We're gonna make an unbeatable team."

I try not to let my heart explode at that sentence.

We begin messing around with lyrics. Once an hour has gone by, we have the lyrics for the chorus.

"So, we harmonize on the chorus, right?" he asks. I nod. "Okay, ready?"

"Yup," I say. I take a deep breath in, and we begin to sing.

"Truly, madly, deeply, I am

Foolishly completely fallen

And some how you kicked all my walls in
