The Hunger Games: Breaking Freedom

As you know I'm obsessed with the Hunger Games so I thought that I would make a fourth book about Katniss' life with her children and Peeta. YOU NEED TO HAVE READ ALL THE HUNGER GAMES BOOKS!

9. Peeta

Katniss is flipping, running through the house calling out for the kids. "Katniss we have to get out of here!" I'm crying but I sound strong, now she probably thinks that I don't care about the kids being gone. "Peeta!" She screams so I can here her, but the way she says it I know something match worse is happening. Like she sounded when she found my leg in the mud in the first Games, when we were trying to be rescued in the second and everyone was confused, like she sounded when she was giving birth to Prim, and now.

I run to the living room where she was supposed to be packing what we needed for our trip through the woods, but all she dies is stand before the couch. It's no longer a soft brown, it's covered in red blood, still half wet. "They killed them." I can barely here her over the bombs exploding in the District. "They wouldn't! They can't Katniss they are our kids, people would pay good money for them, so why would the kill them!" She knods and we leave our only home.

We have four sated bottles, two small packs that contain one loaf of bread, two apples, and a block of cheese warped in plastic, Katniss has one now and four arrows. I carry a long bladed knife and a gun with only one bullet. The rest of our packs have one blanket and another sheet of plastic. We had to travel light, we only have our two backs to carry instead of the four we had. I can barley get Katniss to move through the woods as much as she's crying. I'm no better at hiding it. We have to get to Haymitch's house, we are in charge of him now.

In a mile we get to Haymich. He isn't that drunk so we are able to explain what happened. "What do we do now?" I ask at the end. "We need to leave, District Eleven will welcome us, I have friends there." "What friends?" "Does it matter, now let me get my things!" He rushes to the back of his house and grabs two sacks, probably all he can carry. He claims that one is food and water, and the other is blankets and a tiny tent. I know what's in both, his drinks. That's why Katniss and I packed extra.
