I was strong while you were weak
I was a passionate fire you were wavering ice
I was free whilst you were caged
And I was fierce whilst you were afraid

You were mature I wanted to play
You were tired while I was awake
You were unique and I was simple
And you were sheltered while I was open

You were winter I was summer
I was an open book you were closed
You fell behind and I tried hard
I followed, you led me astray
And I was in love, whilst you, were not
