Give Into Me

Carson Reed, was 17 years old when she won the X-Factor a year and half ago, and became one of the most popular female singers in the world. She thought she had everything figured out. She was famous, could have anything or anyone, a career that happens only in movies, and a wonderful support team. Everything in her life was perfect. That was, until an unknown boy band was assigned to open for her tour in London. Everything changed. Her life was turned upside, and she had to make choices that no one at her age should ever have to make. She formed unexpected friendships, and bonds that couldn't be broken.

3. 3. Meeting the Boys

I sat in my seat on the plane, near the window humming Miley Cyrus’ song, ‘Party In the USA’. It’s been stuck in my head ever since I left LAX. I don’t even like the damn song. You’d think being in first class would have been great, right? Wrong. Seriously wrong. There was a woman next to me going on about how her first marriage had failed, and how all of the four after that had also. Then there was the little 5 year old that kept making faces at me and telling me my music sucked, and he knew who I was because his big sister loved it. This plane was going to be the death of me, I swear. I was way more than ready to be off this Flight From Hell, as I’ve learned to call it.

“Ladies and gentlemen, we will be landing in approximately twenty minutes. Please turn off all electric devises. Thank you, and I hope you had a wonder flight.” the flight attendant said smiling with her too bright for her skin complexion, orangish lipstick. I hadn’t even realized we were already that close.  I shut down my iPhone and Macbook, and put them away in my carry on. I looked up about three rows where one of my security guards are sitting, and nodded to him to let him know I had everything put up, and was ready.

“Hi, Miss. Reed my daughter is huge fan. Would you mind signing something for her?” a small women with bright blue eyes, and a gorgeous smile asked.

“No problem. Do you have something specific, or just anything?” I smiled at her.

“I have a small notepad in my purse, just let me get that.” She dug around in her purse for a minute before finding it. “Ah ha! Here it is. Her name is Juliet.” She said hanging me the notepad.  I wrote, ‘Thank you for being such a lovely fan! No matter what you’re going through in life, just stay strong. Love, Carson Reed’, “Thank you so much. This is going to mean a lot to her. She just lost her best friend, who was fighting pancreatic cancer. They were both huge fans of yours.”

“Oh, I’m terribly sorry. Does she have a twitter? I could follow her.” I suggested. I hated it when people told me stories like this. It made me feel awful. But thankful at the same time.

“Oh! I’m not sure what her username is. Her name is Juliet Patterson. Thank you so much. You really are such a sweet young girl. I can see why they looked up to you so much.” She said smiling.

“I’ll be sure to look her up. Do you mind if I ask what her friends name is?”

“Oh, it’s fine. Her name was Danni Young.” She said with a sad smile.

“Thank you so much, and I am truly sorry for your lost.”

“No, thank you. You’re a wonderful young lady.” She smiled, and leaned back into her seat.

I’m going to make sure I follow her, and tell her how terribly sorry for her lost I am. This is why I love doing charity for cancer foundations, and for cancer research. The children are too young to be losing their lives, it’s horrible.

“We will be landing in five minutes, please make sure your seatbelts are buckled, and all devices are off. Thank you for choosing America Airlines for your travel. Have a wonderful day.”

Twenty minutes, and a body search later, I was pulling into the parking lot of The Kensington Hotel, where the boys from One Direction, and my tour bus were already. I grabbed my purse, and waited as Robb, Ed, Dylan and another man I didn’t know the name of, opened the door and pushed me to the center of them. I could hear the screams, but could barely see anyone.

“Carson, don’t say anything, just smile and walk until we get to the doors!”  Ed yelled to me from the front. I nodded, and kept the smile on my face until I got to the doors.  “You go on over there,” he pointed to a lounging area to the right. “I’m going to go check you in. Angie should be up there. The boys are over there also. And this here is one of their guards. He came out to help because the crowd was horrendous when the boys came.” Ed motioned towards a very husky man who looked like he was in his mid to late 20’s. I told him hello, and made my way over to where the five anonymous sat laughing at something.  I made my way to the far end of a couch that only one of them were sitting on, and took out my phone to text Emma that I was at the hotel.

“Why hello there!” one of them said. I looked up and they were all looking at me, waiting for a response.

“Uh, hey.” I said with a little wave.

“How was your flight?” one with brown hair, and brown eyes said. He was cute. Like, really cute. He should have been a fucking puppy.

“It was okay. There was a woman who got drunk and kept rambling on about her failed marriages. You know the usual.” They all laughed and nodded.

“Sounds about right,” the same boy said. “We just came from out flats. Well, all except for Niall. He went back home for a while.” He motioned towards a boy on the couch I was sitting on. Okay, so the one with blonde hair, and beautiful blue eyes is Niall. I will not forget that. He’s gorgeous. Like, beautiful. He had crooked teeth, but that just made him even more beautiful to me. But there is no way I was going to let that show. At least I don’t think so. I just kind of stared at him for a minute.

“I was visitin’ my family.” He said smiling. His voice caught my attention though. He didn’t have the same accent as the other voice. The other boy’s was British, but his was different. I couldn’t quit put my finger on it though.

“That’s nice,” I said, smiling. “Where are you from? You don’t have the same accent as his.” I said pointing to the one that spoke first.

“I’m from Ireland.” He said proudly. “So my accent is Irish.” I nodded, laughing.

“Niall, I think she could get that since you’re from Ireland you dipshit.” The curly haired one said. He had bright green eyes. They were gorgeous. Hell, every single boy was gorgeous. But I found Niall stunning. There was just something about him. “This may be a dumb question, but do you know our names? You keep referring to Liam, as ‘him’.” He said laughing, shyly.

“Well, I know Niall’s name. And now I know Liams.”

“Well. I’m Harry, this is Louis, and that’s Zayn.” He said motioning to the other boys.

“How in the fuck do you now know our names? We’re like, sex Gods, dammit!” the boy whose name was Louis, said offended.

“I’m sorry,” I said laughing. “I didn’t mean to offend you. I just don’t listen to your type of music. Hell, I don’t even listen to my type of music. I just love singing. “

“How do you not listen to our music?” Louis asked is shock. “It’s fucking brilliance!”

“He’s just being stupid. Don’t mind him.” Harry said, smacking the other boy on his head. “What kind of music do you listen to then?” now all of the boy’s attention was on me.

“Oh. I listen to punk rock, and rock. I listen to some of the pop stuff, just not normally.”

“Well that’s cool.” Niall said.

“Hey guys. We’ve got you all checked in. Niall, Liam, Zayn, room 502, and Harry and Louis, you’ll be with Paul in 507. Carson you’re with Angie in room 504. And also Dylan found your luggage. He’s on his way with it right now.” Robb said. We all started to get up, and Robb handed us our keys. “We’re going to dinner in a bit, so get settled in and meet us down here when you’re done. Oh, and we’re having the concierge leave a key for Dylan so he can take your stuff up to your room, okay?”

“Got it,” I said giving him a thumbs up. “Where is Ang at anyway?”

“Oh, she hasn’t arrived yet. She won’t be here until later. She had some things to take care of back in L.A. before she left.” I hadn’t known any of that. Why didn’t she tell me?

“Okay. Well I’m going to up to my room.” I walked to the elevator where Niall was still standing, looking at his phone. “Hiya.”

“Hey. I was waiting for you. Didn’t think ya would want to walk back to your room by yourself.” He said blushing slightly, as we stepped into the elevator.

“Oh, you didn’t have to do that. But thank you.” I said. We stood there in an awkward silence before either one of us said something again.  “Are you excited to be performing again?”

“Yes! I’ve missed it so much. We’ve lost a lot of publicity because we haven’t really been doing anything lately because we’ve been writing the album. I was really excited when management told us we were going to be opening up for you. I mean, because we haven’t performed in a while.” I pretended to be offended.  “Oh, I mean I was excited to be opening up for you too! You’re an amazing singer. I’m a big fan!” he said in a rushed tone, as I tried to hide my grin.

“Niall, I was just teasing you. You don’t have to like my music.”

“Oh, well I actually do. You’re very talented.” He blushed, and put his hand on the back of his neck, rubbing it slightly and looked down. The elevator dinged, and we stepped out.

“Thank you. Do you know where we’re going to dinner at?”

“I think it’s this fancy restaurant across the lot.” I love the way he talks. His accent just makes me hot if I’m being honest. It’s sexy.

“You say that funny,” I said laughing at the way he said ‘restaurant’.

“What? Restaurant?” he said smiling at me.

“Yes! It’s adorable.” I told him. We got to my door. “Thank you for waiting for me. When you’re ready, you guys can come over if you’d like. So we can talk and get to know each other a bit more.”

“Okay, I’ll tell the lads.” He smiled and walked down towards his room. I put the key in the door, and pushed it open. The room was huge. There was a small dining room between the kitchen and living areas. Then there were two bedrooms, and a bathroom. I walked into the first bed room, and put my carry on suit case that I had from the plane, on the bed. I was going to have to wait for Dylan to get here because I don’t have any formal clothes I could change into. I had my makeup, toothbrush and toothpaste, and some shorts and shirts and stuff like that with me. I plugged my phone in, and decided I would take a shower. I grabbed my toothbrush and made my way to the bathroom.

Twenty minutes later, and after I’d done my make up there was a knock on my door. I went to the door and looked through the peep hole and was happy to see Dylan there. I opened the door to let him in, “Hey there!” I said excitedly.

“Hey, I brought your stuff.” He said leaning down to kiss my cheek. I turned to walk in the door, and motioned for him to come in. I brought my stuff to my room, and sat it on my bed and began rummaging through the biggest suit case, for the dress I was going to wear. Dylan and I had hung out a couple times last week, and I decided that he was a good friend, and nothing more but the last night we hung out he kissed me. I told him I thought being just friends was best, and he agreed sadly. I feel really bad because he seemed to really like me. “How was the flight?” he asked from the living room.

“It was fine. I met this amazing woman, and oh!” I grabbed my phone and searched for Juliet. I found her, and went to her profile. I saw the she was already following me, that she was very pretty and about sixteen. I clicked the ‘follow’ button. “Sorry. I forgot something.” I told him the story about the ladies on the plane. I picked out a cute Jolie Moi blue and cream colored dress, the top part was cream and the skirt part was blue. I paired them with cream colored wedges, diamond studs, and my white diamond infinity necklace. My eyeshadow matched the top of my dress, and the eyeliner matched the blue, and I had some mascara. I was putting my shoes on when there was a knock on the door. “Hey, Dyl will you get that?”

“Yeah.” He hollered back. I finished the strap on my shoe and walked out the living area, where Dylan stood with the boys from One Direction. “You’ve got company.”

“I see that.” I said laughing. “Hey guys. You took longer than I did to get ready!” I joked with them.

“Yeah, well Zayn and Harry are worse than girls, I swear.” Liam said laughing. I couldn’t really tell whether he was joking or not.

“Sorry, sorry.” Harry held his hands out in a defensive manor, joking. “So, you’re ready?”

“Uh, yes. Do I not look like it?” I said looking down at my outfit.

“Oh! You look wonderful, it’s just you don’t have hardly any makeup on and most girls put way too much on.” Harry looked down, blushing.

“Oh. I don’t really wear too much makeup unless I’m performing.”

“Good. You’re pretty without it.” Niall said, and I heard someone trying to stifle a laugh, and someone snort. All the blood in my body rushed to my head, and I swear it was about to catch fire. My cheeks were burning red, I could feel it.

“Oh, thanks.” I looked down at my nails, not making eye contact with anyone. “So, are you guys ready for dinner? Should we head down?”

“Yeah, we’re ready. Paul said they’re all down there.” Liam said.

“Okay, well lets head down.” I said turning towards the door. I noticed Dylan didn’t follow, why wouldn’t he be coming? “Are you coming Dylan?”

“Yes, I’m just going to call someone real fast. Tell dad I’ll be down in a minute.”

“Okay.” I said coming back to kiss hiss cheek. “We’ll wait for you. Okay boys, let’s go!”

We were sitting around a table at this fancy place called Larosa’s. it was Italian and the food was really good. I was eating a salad with chicken, and a homemade dressing, it was delicious. “So we were sitting there on the bench and this biker goes by and was looking at us and then there were a few trash cans, and he just flew right over them in this paint stuff. It was exactly like something that would happen in a movie and he started yelling at us about how evil we were. It was great.” Harry said as the whole table started laughing. I looked at Niall, who was on my right, and smiled. His eyes were so gorgeous. They truly were. Angie was right; they’re not the same as the rest of the boy bands I’ve ever met. I liked them. They were sweet and funny, my kind of people.

“After dinner would you wanna come hang out with the boys and I in Zayn, Liam, and my room? The other boys are going to come too. We’re just gonna chill.” Niall looked adorable. There was not a chance in hell I was going to say no.

“I would love that. It’d be really boring by myself the rest of the evening.”

“Okay. So are you and Angie close?” he asked me.

“Yes. She is my bestfriend. She’s the only girl with me on the tour and at home. She was kinda like my mom, since I’ve never really had one growing up. But mostly she’s just my bestfriend.”

“I see. What do you mean about your mom, if you don’t mind me asking?”

“Oh, well my mom wasn’t really around when I was little. She had a problem with drugs, so she was in and out of rehab, and on the street so my sister pretty much raised me.”

“Oh, I’m sorry. You didn’t have to tell me that.” He said squeezing my arm.

“Oh, it’s fine. Just please don’t repeat it.”

“Of course not. I wouldn’t mention it to anyone.”  He said with a small smile.

“Are you guys finished? I’ve got some work I need to get finished.” Aaron, the boys’ publicist said.

Everyone said they were finished and paid, and tipped the waitress. We left the restaurant and went back to the hotel. I told the boys I was going to change, and come to the room. I texted Angie telling her she was right about the boys, and then I texted Emma, and the twins telling them I missed them already, and that London was beautiful. I slipped on some yoga pants, a sweater, and my Ugg boots, threw my hair up, grabbed my phone, and room key and headed to Niall’s room.

I knocked on the door twice, then was greeted with a huge smile, and bright blue eyes. “Hey, come in.”

-Sorry it took so long! I've had a ton of things going on! I think I'm going to make the chapters a bit shorter, that would help me get them on here faster I think. Anyway, thank you so much for reading!(:
