Edit: since I finished this, I have made major changes to Chesha and her story. I will be rewriting this

Chesha is the elven princess of Aakridi, a planet across the sun from Earth. When heroes arrive at her planet unexpectedly with a human girl who looks oddly like Chesha, weird things start to happen.

Book 1 of Obsidian Series

17. DarkCaster

I wandered around the S.H.I.E.L.D hovercraft. While the others decided to go plan out the next move I decided to wander around. The New Avengers were sent out on a mission so no one came to bother me. I stretched and thought of Aakridi. What if DarkCaster was the one who wanted my dad killed? My eyes narrowed at the thought. The earpiece in my ear suddenly buzzed. I put my hand to it and asked, "What?"

"We're gonna wait a while to see what DarkCaster does next. But, um I got word from Aakridi that some monsters of his were..." Koquz trailed off.

He'd used a spell to check on Aakridi.

"What are they doing?" I growled.

"They...uh well lets say they've been killing off some people and our guards are trying to protect them. They also have Hiwel hostage." Koquz spoke rapidly.

Fury built in me.

"They're holding Hiwel hostage?!?!" I roared.

"Uh yes but don't worry we'll figure something out." Koquz said. "....Chesha? Chesha you there?"

I took off the earpiece and flung it over the hovercrafts side. I ran toward one of the jets parked on the deck. I jumped into one and one of the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents yelled for me to stop. I started the jet and in moments was up in the air. I zipped through the clouds. I clenched the controls until my knuckles turned white.

"DarkCaster I'm going to kill you." I growled.

Suddenly there was static from the communicator. I put it on and asked, "Hello? Is someone there?"

"Chesha." A deep voice answered.

I felt an ominous shiver run down my spine.

"D-DarkCaster?" I murmured.

"Yes. Follow my directions and Hiwel and Aakridi will remain safe. If you do not i will kill everything you love. I'm sending coordinates to where we will meet." DarkCaster growled.

I flinched as coordinates appeared on the screen on the controls. I nodded and said, "Im coming."

"Good girl." With that there was static and then silence.

I leaned back in the seat and took a deep breath, leaning my head back. I leaned forward and read the coordinates and changed course for them.
