Hell's Angel

When Danika died in a fatal car accident at age sixteen no one seemed to get over it, especially her best friend Ryder. Danika finds herself in hell, continuously being perused by Caid, the sexiest, bad-est boy she has ever met. When Danika is given the choice weather or not to return to the life she once had she finds it's the hardest choice she's ever had to make, to home to the boy she loved since she was ten or stay with Caid, the one she couldn't help but fall in love with.

2. Ryder

It was two years after I died, my eighteenth birthday. The boy I'd met that night turned out to be one of the nine angels who originally fell with Lucifer, his name was Caid and honestly, he was a pain in the ass. He was hell's playboy, and he never left me alone. Caid was a good friend, but no matter how many times I told him I wasn't interested, he always came onto me. I was temped of course, what woman wouldn't be, but I was still in love with Ryder, I always had been.

"Danika, are you here?" Caid's voice floated through from the living room of the house I'd been given. Hell had houses, who would have guessed?

"This is my house, Caid. Where else would I be?" I said as I walked into the living room. I was awe struck, as I usually was around Caid. He was in a pair of faded black jeans and a grey top, as tight as the one he wore when I first met him.

"Well I was hoping you'd be a the club, it's your birthday Danika. Let loose, have some fun." He said, as he assessed what I was wearing, his eyes lingering on my chest. "Nice clothes by the way." I was wearing a tight black dress that flared out at the waist. The dress was just like most of my clothes lately, they didn't leave much to the imagination. It was more practical than anything else in hell, the heat down here was almost unbearable, the more skin I showed the cooler I felt.

"You know what I want for my birthday Caid, I want to see him." I said, crossing my arms across my chest. There was no need to explain whom I meant, for the first year I spent in hell I spoke of Ryder at least once a day. It must have driven everyone mad but I hadn't cared, nobody else mattered, nothing else mattered not when I didn't have Ryder.

"Danika... You know it's not good for you to look back. What if he moved on, what if he doesn't even remember you?" Caid asked desperately  I could tell he was trying to spare me but I had to know.

"Then... At least I know I didn't kill his spirit when I died." I whispered, not daring to look away from his eyes. Finally after a few seconds he relented, he nodded his head and closed the distance between us. He placed his hands on my cheeks, and stared into my eyes.

"Fine but understand one thing Danika, I am doing this for you, I'd do anything for you. Now know this, after today I stop this, I stop letting you hurt yourself by looking back. You can't go back but you can go forward." He said and then took my hand in his and pulled me out the back door of my house. We snuck through the back garden I had planted and through the streets of hell (Hell was not how I would have pictured it.) Finally we came to Caid's home, all of the original nine had portals in their homes that led to the human world, and I was going to use Caid's to go back, for the first and last time. The portal didn't look like much, just a plain door but when Caid opened it, I saw a living room on the other side. The carpet was crème and the walls were a light brown, the curtains were the same colour as the floor. The furniture was a mixture of a T.V, sofas, chairs and a coffee table. Suddenly someone walked into the room. Ryder.
