The large group of fans that were waiting outside of my phone in the snow screamed as the car pulled to a stop and the doors opened.

I watched from my bedroom window as Niall and Greg were shoved through the crowd by security. I was good minute before I heard the front door close and they were in the house. I watched as security tried to make the fans leave.

As I walked downstairs I was that all of my girl cousins were hugging Niall and not letting go.

Instead of helping him out, I went over to my older step brother and gave him a hug. “Long time no see,” he said and I chuckled.

“How was your flight?” I asked and he shrugged.

“The flight was fine, but the airport was hectic.”

“Hey boys,” my mum said and the rest of the adults walked into the living room. Mum and Bob wet and hugged Niall and Greg and they just ignored the fact that Sara and Nelly were holding onto his legs, that Sally was on his back and that Jilly and Amy were standing by his sides hugging him.

Jason and Aaron watched from the couch in amusement as Niall continued a casual conversation as if he didn’t have five girls holding on to him. After a few minutes all of the adults went into the other room.

“Ladies, can you please let go of the famous little Irishmen so I can give him a hug?” I asked and one by one my cousins let go of Niall.

“Hey sis,” he said and gave me a hug.

“Hey Nialler, I missed you,” I told him and removed my arms from around his neck. “What have you guys been up to?”

“Hanging with some family,” he replied. “What about you?”

“Hanging with some family,” I said and looked around the living room at all the people in it.

“Guys!” my Aunt Jenny yelled from the kitchen. “Lunch!”

“Yes!” Niall said happily. “We got her in time for food!”

Then, everyone headed into the kitchen.

Two days later, I woke up to Zayn yelling, “what the fuck!”

I sat up quickly and someone else sat up beside me and I turned my head and said, “Harry, what are you doing here?”

“Got in last night,” he replied and yawned and stretched.

“Wait,” I said and looked at Zayn, “What are you doing here?”

“Got here last night.”

“Where did you sleep?” I asked.

“On the couch. I would’ve slept in Niall’s bed but it was already taken by Liam.

“Liam’s here?” I asked and Zayn nodded. “What about Louis?”

“Actually, he kept calling me until I woke up. He told me to wake you because he’s going to be here soon.” Then the doorbell rang. “Or now,” he added and walked over to my bed and laid down on the other side of Harry.

I turned to look at Harry. “You guys do know that you guys have a flat about ten minutes from here, right?” I asked.

“Your flat’s closer to the tubes,” Harry said and shrugged.

“No it’s not!” I exclaimed and the doorbell rang again.

“You might want to go and get that,” Zayn said and I got up and walked downstairs.

When I opened the door, perfection was standing there in a suit and tie, even though it was freezing out and he had a hand behind his back.

“Hi Louis,” I said with a smile and I had to stop myself from grabbing his face and kissing him because he was just so adorable.

“Hello love,” he replied as he stepped through the door and closed it behind him. “I made you something.”

“Made?” I asked.

“Merry Christmas,” he said and pulled a beautiful bouquet of handmade tissue paper flowers from behind his back and handed them to be.

“You made these?” I asked and my smile got bigger when he nodded.

“Well, my sisters helped me out a little bit.”

“Tell them thank you for me,” I told him. Then I noticed that I smelt actual flowers, so I sniffed the bouquet in my hands. “Did you spray something on these?”

“Febreze,” he said and I laughed.

“Well thank you and happy belayed birthday. Did you have fun at your party?”

“Yeah, a lot. I just wish you could’ve been there,” he said and took a step closer to me. In response, I took a step back and was now against a wall.

“I would’ve been there, but parties aren’t my style.”

“But it was my birthday,” he whispered.

“Yeah, but parties aren’t my style,” I replied and he smiled and started to move his head closer to mine.

“But it was my birthday,” he whispered again.

“And parties aren’t really my style,” I replied and I heard the sound of people walking down the stairs, but neither Louis nor I moved from where we were.

There were suddenly four boys around us, but Louis and I paid them no attention. We just stood there with our lips inches apart.

Then, from the corner of my eyes, I noticed that the boys started doing stupid things behind Louis.

Harry had his hands and were pretending they were people. He had them pretend to talk and then kiss and then it looked like his hands were trying to eat each other.

All the while, Zayn, Liam and Niall were fist punching and mouthing, “Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!” and I had to stop myself from laughing.

“Their doing stupid stud behind me,” Louis said quietly, “Aren’t they?”

“They most definitely are,” I replied.

“Are you going to let me kiss you?” he asked.

“Well I’m not going to stop you.”

“Is that a yes?”

Before I could respond, Harry yelled, “For the love of god!” And shoved Louis head towards mine.

It wasn’t a long kiss, it wasn’t a short kiss, but it was practically a perfect kiss, minus the fact that the boys started cheering as soon as our lips met.

When it ended, Louis whispered, “I told you I’d get that kiss.”

“And I knew you would,” I replied. Then I looked at the boys. “Can you guys please go upstairs?” I asked.

“As long as there’s breakfast ready when we come back down,” Niall said.

“There will be,” I told him. “Now go.”

The boys left without another word and it was just Louis and myself.

“We should probably go and start breakfast,” Louis said as he took my hand and lead me into the kitchen. “And while we’re at it, we should probably talk about our relationship too.”

I turned to look at him. “Really?” I complained. “Why?”

“Because I want to know what’s going on between us.”

“I don’t even know what’s going on between us,” I replied.

“So, wanna just say yes to my question that I’ve been asking?” he asked as I walked into the pantry and grabbed some waffle mix. Before I answered, I put the mix in the bowl, added water and started to mix it.

“Yeah, you see, I would, but I really don’t want to get married to someone before I’ve even dated them.”

Louis walked over, slowly turned my around and wrapped his arms around my waist. “Well, how about this. Brittany Tom, will you be my girlfriend?”

I tilted my head up and he titled his head down so I could look into his eyes. “You know, if a year ago I was told that I would be traveling with One Direction on their tour, pregnant with Louis Tomlinson children, getting proposed to constantly and dating a very attractive boy stuck in a man’s body, I would’ve thought that whoever was talking to me was crazy.”

I watched for a few seconds as Louis figured out what I was saying. He had a really cute confused look, but soon his face broke out in a smile and he planted a short kiss on my lips. “Should we go and tell everyone the good news?” he asked and I chuckled.

“I’m pretty sure that Niall’s going to go slightly crazy if we don’t have food ready.”

“Put me to work,” he said and removed his arms from my waist.

“Are you good at making scrambled eggs?”

“I’m not terrible at it,” he replied.

“Okay, jus-never mind. You do the waffles,” I said and I walked over to the fridge, “and I’ll do the eggs.”

“Yes madam,” he said and walked over to where I just was and stuck his finger in the waffle mix and licked it off.

“Louis!” I yelled and he looked me innocently with his finger in his mouth.

“Yes?”

“No, don’t do that. It’s unsanitary.”

“Are you sure?” he asked and did it again.

“I am.”

“Well, since my germs are already in it, it wouldn’t matter if I did it again, now would it?” He asked and stuck his finger into the bowl and then into his mouth.

“You’re probably the most immature person that I have ever met,” I told him.

“I probably am, now get cooking women!”

Twenty minutes later, all nine of us were at the table.

“When did Greg leave?” I asked my step dad.

“Around three this morning,” he replied.

“Yeah, I passed him on my way in,” Harry added.

“By the way,” Louis started with a mouth full of waffle, “Britt and I are dating.”

Everyone looked slightly shocked by this information.

“Why are important things like this always announced when we’re eating?” Liam asked and I shrugged.

“What was the last important thing?” Harry asked.

“That I was having twins,” I told him and he nodded.

“Yeah, and then we had the whole wedding discussion,” Zayn said.

“By the way,” Mum said from next to me, “I’m completely okay with Brittany getting married to Louis.”

“I am too,” Bob added.

My jaw dropped and I started at my mum and step dad in complete shock as the boys high fived.

“Really?” I asked her. “You’re okay with me getting married?”

“Well Brittany, I do recall you saying something along the lines of, ‘I wish I could meet One Direction and get married to Louis Tomlinson because he’s so perfect and cute and adorable and attractive.’

The boys started laughing to the point that they were crying, and I just sat there and covered my face with my hands in complete embarrassment. Even Danny was laughing at me.

“What else has Brittany said about us before she knew us?” Harry asked my mum.

I looked at my mum and said, “Please don’t. If you value my sanity, you won’t tell them anything else.”

“Boys, as much as I would love to tell you everything that Brittany said about you, I don’t want her to get too embarrassed.”

“Thank you,” I told her.

When breakfast was over, everyone went upstairs and left Louis and I to clean up. As I was washing off the dishes and putting them into the dishwasher, Louis started dancing around the kitchen and singing.

You think I’m cute. You think I’m adorable. You think I’m attractive. You think I’m perfect. You wanted to get married to me. You-.” I cut him off by flicking water at him.

“I still think all those things, but one by one they’ll go away if you keep dancing like that and acknowledging that I think those things,” I told him.

“Okay, okay,” he chuckled, “I’ll stop, under one condition.”

“And what’s that?”

“You go on a date with me tonight.”

“But I already had plans for tonight.”

“What are they?”

“I can’t really tell you yet. It’s a surprise.”

“A surprise?” he asked. “For who?”

“It’s your guys’ Christmas present from Meghan, Perrie and myself.”

“Really? What is it?”

“I can’t tell you.”

“Give me a hint.”

“Nope.”

“How about we make a deal,” he suggested.

“And what would this deal be?”

“I’ll tell you where the lads and I are taking you, Meghan and Perrie for Christmas, if you tell me where you guys are taking the lads and me to for Christmas.”

“You’re taking us somewhere?” I asked and he nodded.

I thought all that over for a second, but I shook my head.

“Please?”

“I can’t. Meghan and Perrie might hurt me if I do. It took a lot of planning.”

“Just one hint?” he begged.

“Nope. But I will give you a job to do.”

“And what’s that?”

“Just make sure that all the boys are at your flat at seven tonight, and that Danny is here. My mums agreed to babysit him.”

“Okay, but how about you and I go out on a date before all that, and then get back before seven?”

“Depends,” I told him.

“On what?”

“What’s going to happen on this date?”

“Well, since you never got me a birthday present, whatever I want.”

“Ohhh, yeah, I’m taking that as just dinner.”

“That’s what I was thinking it was going to be, but I get to choose the place.”

“Well of course you get to! It’s your birthday dinner from me after all!”

“And I’m paying too,” he added.

“Yeah, no you’re not.”

“Why can’t I?”

“Because it’s going to be my birthday present to you.”

“So what?”

“I’m not going to let you pay for your own birthday present!” I demanded.

“Well, you see, it might be my birthday present, but it’s also a date, and the guy, so I’m paying.”

“No, you’re not.”

“Brittany,” he said and put his hands on my shoulders, “which one of us is the millionaire?”

“Louis,” I said and put my hands on his shoulders, “which one of us doesn’t give a shit?”

“Okay, okay!” he yelled and through his arms up in the air. “I’ll pay, whatever!”

“Louis!”

“Brittany!”

“God you’re annoying,” I told him and started to walked away.

“But you love me!” he yelled.

“I do,” I replied.
