Forbidden and Denied Love

Cameron and Sydney had two completely different lives until they are brought together. Cameron is the guy in school that almost everyone knows, but he isn't the popular one. He has long black hair, with purple eyes. He is really outgoing, which is a good thing because he is moving.. To a new state. Sydney on the other hand, is pretty shy, only a little bit of the school knows of her. She has long brown hair with icy blue eyes. A lot of people give her compliments, but she denies them. She is one of the prettiest girls in school, but she doesn't believe anyone when they tell her that, thanks to her low self-esteem.

3. Starting Fresh

-Cameron's P.O.V.-

I slid the accept button to the right of my phone, putting it to my ear. I could hear my mother's voice on the other end.

"Cameron?" My fathers's deep voice rang in my ear.

"Well, how are you moving in?"

"Actually," I looked around, "I've gotten a lot done. All I really have left is the kitchen."

"That's amazing, have you made any new friends yet?"

"No, I haven't gotten out that much since I got here, I've been trying to unpack." I walked to the door, letting cool breeze brush against my bangs.

"Well look I have to go, but I hope you finish unpacking soon."

"Alright, bye." I hit the end button and felt my phone slide against the fabric in my pocket. I stepped outside completely  closing the door behind me. The wind pushed against my hair, messing up my hair slightly  Ugh, first day at a new school tomorrow. I knew I was easily going to make new friends, I just don't feel like going. I walked onto the crunching leaves, without shoes on. I was looking around the massive yard that came with the house when I saw a flash of brown far away in the corner of my eye. I turned around and saw a girl, around my age, running around with a young girl, who looked to be about four. I smiled and watched the older girl swing the younger one playfully, yet carefully, by the arms. Even though I was far away, I could still hear the young girl's giggles. I grinned one last time before walking back to my house and opening the door, "Patron (Like the drink), come on, let's go for a walk." A gray and white pit bull came through the door. Most people are scared of him at first appearance, but he is quite friendly and sweet, although he looks like a brute. He is also very well trained and knows literally almost any trick. I watched as Patron walked in a circle around a tree , lifting his leg.

"Good boy." I said, before he walked back up to me, and we went inside. As I was folding a box I just finished unpacking I heard a knock on the door, "Coming." I yelled, throwing it to the pile and getting up and walking to the door.

"Hi." I said as I opened the door to a brown hair blue eyed girl who looked about my age and another woman with lighter brown hair who looked in her thirties.

"Hello." The older woman answered me. "How are you moving in?" Her voice was very cheerful.

"I am moving in just fine, thank you." I cracked a smile at the woman.

"My name is Ms. Ms. Jacey. And if you need anything let us know because we live right there." She pointed to the house where the girl was at, and I noticed the girl next to her was the one with the little girl. "How old are you?" She asked, her voice sounded slightly concerned.

"I am seventeen." I answered her respectfully.

"So you are still in school?" Ms. Jacey asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Yes ma'am. I am transferring to Parker High School, I will be starting in two weeks." I said with a slight smile.

"That is the same school that Sydney goes to." The woman looked over at the girl that looked my age. "Maybe she can show you around."

As soon as she said this I shook my head, "Oh, no, thank you though."

"Well if you need help going somewhere then you can ask us." She said smiling.

"Alright thank you." I said, returning her smile. "I don't mean to ignore you both, but I am very busy and I need to finish getting unpacked. So if you will excuse me." I shrugged slightly.

"That's is fine, do what you have to. Bye!"

"Good bye." We both finished with a smile as I closed the door behind them. I turned to face my now, not so empty, living room. I let out a breath I didn't realize I was holding in seeing the work I had left. "This is going to take forever!" I felt the words come off of my lips. As I looked around the room I didn't know where to start off, there were still a good bit of boxes left, but not nearly as many as there were three days ago.  I flopped onto my newly placed couch and sighed once again into the pillows. After staying there for about five minutes, I got up and walked up the stairs, to my bedroom, and finished unpacking the few boxes I had left.  While I was unpacking I looked back at my radio, and turned it on. I turned the volume up so that the radio was blasting. After turning it up I looked up, through the window, to see Sydney turned around and looking at my house smiling and shaking her head. I felt a smile creep upon my lips and turned around, going back to the boxes stacked against the wall.
