Intrusion: The World Upon Downside!

Why, why; why! Do I have to suffer something so paranormal? So unusual; it’s like earth is fighting back, yet now it is trying to redeem its true title. I feel like the balance between everyone has had a massive drop. The balance in humanity has lost against a stronger force. The final balance between civilizations has been lifted. Most of the natural disasters upon us are causing more destruction than ever before.
I have to sit here, day by day; watching the sun go down; yet to us, it is going up. The whole world is going up in a single spark; flames will erupt with corruption on earth. The world we once knew has become a hell hole; a dimension, a new planet has begun to grow from beneath us. Yet to us; it feels like it’s growing upon us. From above; the ground shakes, roars breaking down our trees. Separating us from each-other, leaving us with what the dinosaurs ended with.

5. The Weapon That Draws Blood For Freedom

“Well I feel that you may need to trust her- because she’s the only one I trust at this moment” father whispered; that was a pretty cold hearted comment. I'm his son...

“Well I decide whether I am going to leave this junk town; either way, I suggest you do the same” the girl said as she held her Katana by her waist. I never questioned on why she had that with her.

If the police officers were still patrolling the streets, she would have been taken to prison. The way she spoke just made me feel unsafe – yet father felt it was her way of showing she’s strong spirited. As she was speaking further; luring my own father into her clutches. I decided to make a big mistake or possibly something that would keep her away from the remainder of our family.

“Look-look, we need to get some sleep for tomorrow; so could you leave... please” I spoke while looking at the girl. Not knowing her name still; I guess I was a little curious on who she really was.

Father held me back, while I tried to look less afraid. She looked at me while moving her left hand remotely closer to her katana. All she had to do was one lunge to finish us off; yet I was more surprised on how she responded.

“You’re certainly a warrior to stand up to me; yet you seem to be hidden in your fathers clutches” she whispered; as she equipped her katana; the silver blade I was afraid of.

I watched her lift the katana into her left hand; while her eyes were now focussed on me. Either way she is most likely a ninja. I was too curious for her name rather than finding out what should have happened. She walked a few steps towards me; while I covered my face with my shaken hands.

“As if- as if you would challenge me; I don’t act like regular people. I am my own person” she replied while kneeling down with her arms resting on the tip of the blade; it seemed that her balancing was keeping her from falling through.

She reminded me of a Ninja, Possibly a warrior too. It was shocking to see that she had offered peace to us. Yet, I still couldn't trust her; warriors like her carrying dangerous weaponry; I can’t take a chance. It’s too risky for me and my father, either way she weren't going to leave. Father stood up holding me back away from her. Maybe he is going to ask her to leave...

“Young lady, you cannot stay here with that dangerous weapon; it’s too dangerous around anyone” father spoke with grace; as he laid down his rules perfectly.

“As you wish... father; yet this blade must draw blood to be given the honour for freedom” she replied as she stared at me and father; I could not stand any-more of her dangerous threats.

Father allowed me to walk in front of him; while gently tapping me on the left shoulder with a smile. Judging from that smile; it was as if he wanted me to seduce her. Allowing father’s rules to proceed; I was too afraid of approaching her. She had a weapon that could slice through a human in a second.

“Please-please, don’t find us as a danger; we can make... peace” I asked while shaking, her eye movement focussed on me mostly. Yet she kept looking at her blade more than any of us.

“S-so you wish to make peace with a girl like me? My grand-father passed this weapon down through family generations; yet you want me to reduce my will on drawing blood?” She spoke down to me; as if I were some frightened child. I actually felt like that due to being near her.

I nodded as she stood right in front of me; worried of her next actions. Father sat back on his chair; as he listened to the conversation we were having. Yet I was almost certain father was afraid. He has a very great way of hiding his emotions towards strangers. Even I can’t work him out half the time and I’m his son.

“Yes, I... I mean us, would like you to; just to show you’re no threat to us a family” I whispered; still not trusting her. Father seemed to be happy with her presence.

“Y-you find me as a threat? Grand-father taught me to talk down to people like you. He told me never to trust a stranger. Some reason I doubted it; following what I believed in” she whispered; as she held her katana with both hands. My heart had started to beat faster and faster...

Thankfully she placed the katana outside the room; as me and father smiled for a brief second. Not much father and son time; I had thought. Yet I've been with him for several years; so it makes sense to complete the bond between father and son. As she walked back in the room; we felt safer.

“It’s good that you’re no longer carrying that weapon, we can now trust each other” father replied; as I observed the girl’s tears rolling down her cheeks. I felt so bad for her; yet she could have done anything back there. We could have died...

Father’s reply did not help the situation; she jumped back a step; while placing her left hand in her pocket. I tried to understand what father had said to harm her. To our surprise she had another weapon; I can’t say I never expected it. If she has a katana; I'm sure she has a lot of weapons hidden.

“T-t-trust, do you have any idea what that word means?!” She screamed; as she pulled out two knives, holding them in both hands. The moment she equipped herself with more weapons, my heart felt like it had stopped; yet father was now showing that he was scared.

Father slowly reached for the phone; while I was still stood near her. Her tears were still rolling off her cheeks; I could feel how she felt sort of. Yet she decided to not trust us; father may have messed up us making friends with this stranger. Until I offered her safety; something I felt dreadful for saying. Especially to this girl; she could easily betray us...

“W-what if w-we o-offered y-you safety...” I spoke while stumbling on words. Yet she accepted it with grace; while giving father a devious look.

“You offer me safety? You seem to be winning with your seduce plan hey?” She replied with a smile; she seemed friendly now; I felt like I could trust her. Before I could ask if she was okay; she lunged at me, with her arms spreading out wide. Closing in on my shaken body; delivering me a giant hug. It felt so comfy; I have to be honest; it felt like I was safer than usual.

“Well...” I never asked her about how she knew I was trying to seduce her; instead I enjoyed the hug we had together. Father managed to escape the room; it’s probably for the best, since I did not like the way she looked at him, although she is one great lover.
