3. The Element Wielders

"When you were created from the heart of the biggest volcano in Pandora, which you probably remember that part. The others and I went to check it out. When we found you it was quite a surprise and I'll get to why in a bit. We took you back to our base in the jungles of Vesria and cared for you until you could see properly and be able to actually do things on your own. Gabriel and I took care of you while Alex and Matt tried to cover up what happened. We were trying to keep people from finding us back at the tree fort. Zander had to take care of chores and supplying us with the food. And thats about all there is to say about that. Now, I'm going to tell you about them. So, I'm an air element like you know and I'm still mastering it. Matt is an earth element and he has already mastered his element so he doesnt need training. Alex is a water element she, like Matt, has also mastered her element. She takes care of us as well and has perfected her healing powers and mind powers. Zander is a lightning or energy element and he's still perfecting his element as well." Trevor let out a sigh. "And then there's Gabriel who is a fire element just like you. But unlike you, he is very close to mastering it.... This is why you came as a surprise to us. We didn't think it was possible for other people to share an element." Trevor looked at me. I just sat there with my jaw dropped, trying to take in all the new information I just heard.

"After you were there for a couple of months Matt and Alex called a meeting to decide who would take you and train you. The deciding vote was agianst me and Gabriel. I ended up winning because of some feuds that happened between him and the group. He wasn't happy at all because he wanted to be the one to train you." I was trying to keep up.

" So.... Gabriel would have been the one to train me if the feuds didn't happen?" I asked Trevor.

"Yes, more than likely he would have been the one to train you" He said back. "But now Alex has called you and me back to Versia so thats why I had this talk with you now" Trevor stood you and put his thumbs into his pocket and looked out towards the woodlands. "I already have your stuff packed and some food for the trip there." He patted the bag hanging over his shoulder. He picked up his bow and quiver and slung it over his shoulder. I grabbed my bag and slung it over my shoulder.

As we left I watched the mountian dissapear and I knew it would be the last I saw of my home in the mountians for a long time. We flew over a couple of cities and i saw all the flightless mortals down below. We stopped when we were starving to eat and we didn't think our wings could fly us much longer. I made a small campfire and cooked the game I had in my bag for us. Afterwards I made a bed next to Trevor and downed the fire with my hands. I fell asleep next to him and I could tell he was happy by the way his wings were glowing.
