When I awoke the fire had died and Trevor was still sleeping soundly. I got myself up and I started the fire again. I took some of the game out of my bag and began to make breakfast. I watched the birds play in the sky and watched how the wind carried them like it carried me. In the tree line I saw the deer were feeding as well. I took it all in and smiled.

I don't think I'll ever get used to how beautiful the world is, I thought to myself. I saw Trevor start to stir and i knew he was going to wake up soon. The idea that quickly formed into my head made me giggle. I ran down to a nearby stream to get a pan (we forgot to bring buckets.) full of water. I ran back and crouched down low next to Trevor

"Trevor?" I said making my voice all innocent and sleepy. He started to open his eyes when I throw the pan full of water onto him; completely soaking him. He shot up and grabbed the pan from my hands. I was on the ground rolling with laughter.

"Really? Oh god...Hailee now I'm all wet!" He yelled throwing his hands up into the air. I just laughed more and my sides started to hurt. "Oh? You think this is funny? Well I'll give you something to laugh about." He flicked his wrist and a strong wind picked me up off my feet and in a few seconds I was thrown into the stream. He walked down now laughing like I was and he helped me up.

"You... Shoulda saw your face!" I said in between laughs and I was holding my side.

"Yeah and you should have seen yours when I lifted you." Trevor was laughing harder now too. I got up and smiled at him. He got closer and pulled me into a hug.

"I'm sorry I got you all wet." Trevor said to me even though he was still giggling now. I looked up at him,

"I'm sorry I threw a pan of water at you." I said back. He smiled and tipped my head up so I was looking directly at him and kissed me. I kissed him back and we went back and forth for a while. Then I opened my eyes and looked at him again. He smiled at me.

"I'm sorry I pushed you into the stream." I mumbled. He looked at me confused.

"You didn't push me into the stream Hail-" He couldn't finish as I got behind him and shoved him into the stream. I busted out in laughter and ran back up to our camp to go get the food on the fire. I also decided to change my clothes and took off my blue shirt and exchanged it for a cleaner green shirt. I was already eating when he came back. He didn't have his shirt on and then I saw that he had hung it on a tree to dry. His hair a usual dark chocolate brown was now a black because of the water. His blueish-gold eyes took me in and he smiled. He walked over to his bag and pulled a new shirt out of his bag and put it on. He wrapped his arms around me and kissed my forehead before he got up and got some food for himself.

"We should get going after we eat. Our clothes will be more or less dry and we can just throw them back in our bags." Trevor said as he ate.

"Yeah. I'm kind of nervous though."

"Why are you nervous? Are you nervous about meeting them?"

"Yeah. What if they don't like me or I don't fit in that well?" I said back. Pulling my knees up by my chin.

"They all will love you. They all did when you were young so what will change that now?" He said putting a hand on my knee.

"I'm older now and better trained. I've learned to do lots of things and I'm more stubborn and defiant now.... As you already know" I laughed a little. He smiled at me,

"Yes you are very stubborn and you can be defiant sometimes but that's how we all are. It's in our blood to do what we think is right. So you will fit in fine." He stood up, "so are you ready to go?" He put his shirt that was drying back into his bag and slung it over his shoulder. I picked up all my stuff and slung it over my shoulder too.

"As ready as I can be." I said back. We took off again and my excitement was growing. I couldn't wait to see all of them very soon.
