2. Before I Can Remember
I awoke the next morning with my head on his chest and his arms around me. Dawn was breaking and i looked at the clock 4:45 AM. Knowing Trevor wouldn't wake up for a few more hours i untangled myself from him and gave him a kiss on his forehead. He smiled and mumbled some inaudible words in his sleep. Some strong guardian huh? I thought as I chuckled and went out into the kitchen. I wrote him a note saying where i was going so he wouldn't get worried:
Trevor, went out to hunt for a while. I'll more than likely be gone when you wake. Call for me if you need to.

I grabbed my bow and my quiver carrying all my arrows and headed out the door. I spread my wings and flew off to the woodlands around our house. I landed in a tree boarding my favorite hunting spot. I slid halfway down the tree and found a branch to sit on. I looked around and let out a sigh. Hunting and being alone in the woods calms me. While I was daydreaming I saw a flock of birds out of the corner of my eye and I drew my bow. I'll save the details but I was pretty proud of myself. I got about four birds. I decided to check the traps before I went home. After about three hours I had enough meat for the week plus extra. I walked towards the cave near my hunting spot and I whistled. A small little wolf pup with black fur and came running out towards me as well as it's gray and white older mother.
"Hey little guy" I said as I rubbed behind it's ears. "You hungry?" I took two birds out of my bag and I tossed one to the mother. She sniffed it and then devoured it. I sat the other one down by the pup. He looked at his mom and she gave him an encouraging look. He bit into the meat and barked. I laughed and patted his head as he took the bird and ran back to lay down next his mother. I filled my bag back up and headed back towards the house. I heard a low whistle coming from the house signaling me to come back home. I extended my wings and flew back to the house landing right in front of Trevor.
"You called?" I said as I was dropping the game bag on the ground and staring up at him. I folded my wings into my back.
"Yeah, I've got some big news for you" He said. I still couldn't read him which bugged me. I shifted my feet and looked down at the ground.
"Ok then say it." I said trying to sound as nonchalant as possible. Trevor sighed and looked at me.
"This will be a little bit so you might want to sit." Trevor gestured to the porch and sat and I followed suit.
"Before I tell you where we are going. I'm going to tell you a story about more like us."
"More like us?" I got all cold and my face flushed. What do you mean?"
"I mean the other element wielders" Trevor looked at me "...Because we're going to see them very soon."
