It was 2 hours before Penelope's party and Michaela and I were getting ready. We deiced to be a half an hour late. We'll be fashionably late. We took turns wearing our dresses, first she changed, then I changed. We both curled our hair but Michaela's hair was wavy already, but mine was straight. It was really annoying. Plus mine would only stay curly for about 2 hours, but Penelope's party goes from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. It's going to be a long but fun night. Since Michaela and I don't drink since we're under age we won't drink at the party. We'll have a cup of water and pretend it's a drink. That's what we always do. People actually believe us. It's quite funny though.

We put some make up on, but not a lot, just some mascara, lip gloss, a little bit of eye shadow, and some blush. We don't like make up. It's not really our thing.

When got ready, then we drove to the party. It was 7:45 p.m. When we arrived, the noise was so loud. We got to the door and opened it. Her door was unlocked so it was okay for us to walk in. Michaela and I went to the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of water. We filled it up half way and went outside. There were about more than 100 people some were stranger to us but they were all Penelope's friends from high school and collage. It's Penelope's birthday party actually. We spotted Penelope and went to her.

"Boo," Michaela and I went behind her back to scare her.

"Ah!" Penelope said as she turned around to check who it was, "hey! You too! Glad you could make it!"

"Haha, yeah so are we," Michaela said.

"Is there more people coming?" I asked Penelope.

"I think so."

"Wow! It's going to be huge," Michaela told Penelope.

"It already is. Haha," I told Michaela.

About an hour later, more and more people came and in bigger groups.

"Wow," I told Michaela as we were dancing on the dance floor. We saw a bunch of people coming in.

"How many people did she invite?"

"Um, probably 1,000," I was joking.

"Ha, yeah sure does seem like it."

I never saw any of the boys. Well, why would I? Plus, they don't even know Penelope.

I got a call.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Hey," it was Harry, "where are you? I can barley hear you all I can hear is loud music."

"Oh, I'm out."

"At a club?"

"No at a party."

"Oh, what kind of party?"

Why did he want to know all this stuff? We aren't officially dating, and why is he so over protective?

"It's just a birthday party." I wasn't lying. I don't like lying. I do it sometimes if I'm in a really bad position. But I don't lie all the time, only when I really need to and plus I don't need to lie right now. It's not bad, I mean I'm not in a bad position to lie.

"Why is there loud music?"

"Because she's turning 21!" I was getting REALLY annoyed. I like how he's protective but he's over protective when he doesn't have to be.

"Is there any alcohol?"

"Are you drinking any?"

"NO! I don't drink alcohol!"

"Okay. Bye." I really got into a bad mood.

"Wait!" It was too late to answer back, because I already hang up.

"Who was that?" Michaela asked.

"Oh, what did he want?" She was worried because I had a face on. She didn't want my heart to be broken. She's basically my human guardian angel. She protects me. I do that to her too.

"He just wanted to know where I was."

"Oh, okay."

We got back to dancing. After two hours past by, and Michaela and I decided to go home.
