13. No Way Out

Draco fled down the corridors, fiddling with his tie as he took deep breaths. He felt trapped, his tie making things worse. Draco walked straight into the boys bathrooms, the place in which he'd found comfort over the past couple of days. He made his way to the mirror and stared down at the sink below, his hands clutching the side of the sink. Draco felt as if he were going to hurl and was still finding it hard to breathe now he knew he had been discovered. He quickly pulled off his sweater and dumped it onto the floor by his feet. Draco then quickly turned on the cold tap, using his hands as a cup and filling them with the cold substance before washing it over his face, hoping maybe it would help him to calm down. Draco sighed and looked up at himself in the mirror, tears pricking his eyes as he made eye contact with himself. Draco couldn't contain the liquid from rolling down his cheeks this time. Draco hated himself for what he was doing, he was terrified. But there was no way out.

There was no way out.

Draco choked on his tears as he realised this and glaceed down at the sink, closing his eyes to try and contain his tears but letting loud sobs escape his lips. He quickly stopped as he felt the presence of someone else in the room. Draco quickly lifted his head and glanced in the mirror. His mouth dropped as he saw Harry in the reflection.

"I know what you did, Malfoy." Harry told him, a book in his hand. "You hexed her, didn't you!?" Harry snapped. Draco spun around and stared at Harry or a moment, not knowing what to say or do, but his silence spoke for him. Harry then knew that he had been right. Draco quickly raised his wand and shot a spell at Harry, who dodged the spell before swiftly returning fire. Draco moved out of the way and Harry's spell hit the mirror and sink, breaking the tap and causing water to go everywhere, although this bothered neither Draco or Harry as they continued to fight. Meanwhile, Arabella slowly walked down the corridor into which she'd previously followed Harry but groaned as she realised she had lost him. The corridor she stood in was empty. Arabella sighed and ran a hand through her long, blond hair. Harry knew something, Arabella could tell. She had hoped on cornering him and making him confess all that he knew to her, but she'd been too slow. Arabella leaned against the wall as she tried to gather her thoughts and plan her next move but furrowed her eyebrows instead as she heard noises coming from behind a door next to her. Arabella frowned, the noises were coming from inside the boys bathroom. She placed her hand on the door handle before deciding against it, it was the boys bathroom after all but a loud bang caused her to jump and curiosity quickly took over her. She took a deep breath and opened the door, stepping into the boys bathroom.
