Nobody Compares To You

Aaralyn was a typical teenage girl. That is, until Harry Styles pushes himself into her life. NCTY contains graphic material for mature readers only. This is my story, it came from my mind. :) Thanks!

17. Chapter 17

We were at the wedding. Luckily, I had a whole row of people in between Harry and I. Harry was sitting at the end of the row I was sitting in. I was the first seat by the aisle, in the first row. I looked over at Mark, Josh's best friend, who was dancing around with the flower girl, his sister. I caught Harry out of the corner of my eye, leaning forward in his seat, looking at me with a row of people in between us, with a huge, cheeky smile spread across his handsome features, and his dimples were showing. Jeez, he's fucking charming and attractive. His green eyes were glowing with excitement. I don't know why he was cheery. I said okay to be his "friend date."

I pointed over in his direction at the empty field. Harry nodded and stood up.

"Five minutes everyone, five minutes." Cara's dad announced to everybody that the bride will be out soon and that they need to be ready.

Harry and I walked to the empty field.

Harry's bright green eyes scanned me multiple times. He had this smirk on his face that kind of turned me on. It was his 'I want to shag you' smirk.

"Are you mad at me?" I asked innocently. Harry shook his head.

"No? Well, I don't know about you, but it was hell without you. I'm glad you're back." I smiled.

"I didn't say I was back with you." Harry looked more serious.

My heart fell into the pit of my stomach again. My eyes widened, and I thought I might puke. Puke and tears, what a nice entré to my brother's wedding. I'd probably ruin my dress too. I thought I was going to puke, but nothing came up.

Harry just looked at me. He didn't say anything nor did he do anything.

The vomit finally decided to make it's appearance. I turned around and quickly crouched down to vomit as quietly as I could, trying not to cause a scene. Harry pulled my hair back, trying to help. I shook my head and swatted his hand away.

"Aaralyn?" Harry sounded concerned. Fuck you, asshole.

"No." I said while getting up.

"Aaralyn, are you alright?" Harry asked.

"No, now leave me alone." I snapped at him.

I walked inside to find a napkin and succeeded.

When I got back to my seat, Harry was flirting with a girl over in the field. And of course she was flirting back.

I recognized the girl. It was Cara's bridesmaid, Coral. I know why Harry liked her. She was beautiful, smart, funny. I had none of that. Well, not as much of that as she did.

Harry gave the girl's hand a squeeze before she trotted away.

Harry looked back at me. He was holding a glass of wine.

It was when Harry walked past his seat and to me that I grew angrier.

"You alright?" Harry asked me, concerned. Harry crouched down in front of me.

I avoided his gaze.

"Aaralyn, talk to me."

I looked in another direction.

Harry grabbed my chin and tilted my head down so he could look into my eyes. Harry lifted his hand to stroke my cheek. His hand caught a tear and he looked at it confused. You're truely oblivious, Styles.

"You're crying, why?" Harry frowned.

I shook my head, got up, and wiped another tear away. I walked inside and was surprised to be followed.

"Aaralyn, Cara's going to be coming soon. Come sit down." Harry tried.

"Leave me alone, Harry." I sighed.

"Everyone, please have a seat. We're starting momentarily." Cara's father told us over a speaker.

I pushed past Harry and outside. I was halfway down the aisle when Harry grabbed my waist and spun me around.

"Aaralyn, stop. Talk to me."

"No, Harry, I'm not going to talk to you. Why don't you stop talking to me and go talk to Coral." I snapped while turning and finding my seat.

"Everyone, please have a seat." Cara's father demanded while the wedding music started.

Cara walked down the aisle with her father. She looked stunning. Cara gave my shoulder a light squeeze when she walked past me.

I blacked out during the ceremony to think. To think about everything. I felt Harry's hot gaze burning into me. I looked over and sure enough, Harry was staring at me. My eyebrows furrowed and my attention was directed back at my brother and Cara.

"You may kiss the bride." Was the only line I got out of the ceremony. Josh kissed Cara and the audience filled with family and friends burst into cheers.

I remained in my seat when everyone left for cake. Well, almost everyone. Shit.

"Aaralyn." Harry said while sitting down next to me. I tried getting up to leave, but Harry caught my forearm and pulled me back into the white chair.

"Talk to me. You're not going anywhere until you tell me what the hell is up with you." Harry raised his voice. Go to hell.

"Go to hell." I snapped. I got up and walked down the aisle. Harry grabbed my waist and spun me around.

There it was. The look that made me want to cry. The look he gave me at my house when I told him not to leave. This side of Harry is the side that scares the shit out of me.

"Aaralyn." Harry growled. "What the hell is wrong?"

Before I knew it, I was crying gallons of tears. Harry had pulled me into him and I cried into his chest. When I realized what he had done, I placed my hands on his chest and shoved him away. I wiped my face and Harry grabbed my wrists.

"Stop pushing me away." Harry grit his teeth.

I suddenly stopped crying and the tears were replaced with anger.

"Let me go." My jaw tensed.

The look that scared me soon faded and Harry let me go.

"What's wrong?" Harry spoke gentle.

"I told you, stop talking to me and go talk to Coral." You're really pissing me off.

"This is about Coral?" Harry looked surprised.

I shrugged my shoulders.

"Did you think Coral and I were together?"

I shrugged my shoulders again.

"Aaralyn, I would never do that." Harry grabbed my hand. I looked at our hands which Harry had just entwined.

"Aaralyn." Harry laughed while pulling me towards him. He wrapped his arms around me and kissed my temple.

"Coral is my cousin." Harry laughed. I lifted my head up. What?

Harry nodded.

Harry and I were sitting outside while everyone else socialized inside.

"Aaralyn, I'm sorry." Harry whispered while squeezing my hand.

"For what?"

"Lying to you." Harry bit his lip.

"About?" I asked nervously.

"I was lying when I said that I wasn't back with you. It killed me to lie to you but I wanted to see your reaction. To see if you loved me back." Harry looked frightened to tell me that.

"I love you, Aaralyn. I always have." You do?

"You do?"

Harry nodded. I grabbed Harry's neck and pulled him closer to me.

"I love you too." I whispered while kissing him.

"Aaralyn, Josh wants you." Mark told me. I pulled away from Harry and nodded.

"I'll be back." I smiled while walking away.

I found Josh who was talking with guests.

"Hey." I smiled at my brother. I hugged him and congratulated him.

"Thanks. How are you and Harry?"

"We're perfect. It turns out that we love each other." I smiled.

"I'm so glad." Josh said while hugging me again.

"Aara, we're about to dance. Go get Harry and meet Cara and I on the dance floor." Josh said while grabbing Cara and forcing her to dance with him. Cara hated dancing but she accepted Josh's invitation.

I walked back outside to get Harry. Harry wasn't there.

"Harry?" I called but got no answer.

I asked the guests if they had seen him at all. No one told me they saw him.

"Coral, have you seen Harry?" I asked.

"He came and said goodbye to me and left. I didn't think anything of it." Coral told me in her British accent. What?

I grabbed my phone from my purse and walked outside. I called Harry.

"Hello?" Harry sounded upset.

"Harry? Where are you?"

Harry didn't answer.

"Harry?" I bit my lip, holding back tears. I've cried too much lately.

"I'm sorry, Aaralyn." Harry sniffled. Was he crying?

"Why are you crying?" I asked worriedly.

"It's too painful, I have to go."

"Harry, wait!" I cried into the phone as he ended the call.

I dropped to my kness and just cried. I cried for a while.
